Joy was heartbroken💔💔, She lost everything, she had, Everything was over for her. She wanted to take her life, but Drake just can't let her do that.
Seeing Joy in pain was so hard for Drake, tears were felling from his eyes as if he could feel the pain, Joy was suffering. His heart aches to see the person he loves most in the world in pain.
Embrey tries to console him.
" Drake, You need to stay by Joy's side, You need to tell her that she is gonna get through this, but if you would act like this, how you are gonna take care of her, Drake, you need to be stronger at this time to help Joy," said Embrey with Concern in her voice.
Embrey saw Drake's hand, there was blood on his palm because of the cut, She asked him to sit on the couch and put some ointment on it.
" I can't Believe Embrey, that Lisa would do something like this to her sister, Joy did so much for her and this is how she treats ther?" said Drake with anger in his eyes😤😤.
The next morning Drake prepares for Carol's funeral, He even called Lisa to attend the funeral, maybe that would make Lisa realise that her sister needs her.
Joy was so shocked and heartbroken💔😢 that even after waking up, she just sat there like a stone, like she was dead.
Drake went to the room where Joy was sitting in the Dark with sadness on her face😢😞.
" Joy, Please come out, It's time for your Mama's Funeral", said Drake with a Sad😞 face.
Joy just stood up and left the room, she did not even say a word.
Drake prepared everything for the funeral, he asked Embrey to take Joy with her to the funeral.
When Joy reached the funeral place⛪, she saw Lisa was standing beside Mama's Casket.
Joy ran to her and hugged her," Lisa, you are here😢, See, What happened Lisa? Mama's gone😭, Lisa, Mama's gone, please you don't leave me too😣😢, Lisa" said Joy with tears falling from her eyes.
Lisa pulled herself away from Joy and said with no sense of sadness in her voice, " Please, Don't do this, I am just here for my Mama's funeral, I would leave once the funeral is over, So please don't create a scene here, or else I would have to leave now with dad."
Joy could not take it anymore, she just ran away with tears 😭😭in her eyes away from Lisa.
Drake was seeing everything, he could not believe😣 , How could she be this cruel😡 to Joy at such times.He can't tolerate😡 the way Lisa was treating Joy. He just went to Lisa who was standing with her father and said with anger😡in his voice, "what the hell is wrong with you Lisa? How could you talk to your sister like that?"
Garry Interrupted Drake in the middle and yelled, " Hey! Man? You can't talk to my daughter Like that😤, Who the hell are you, Are you his boyfriend😡? she sends you to insult us in front of everyone? Drake Clenched his fist in anger and said, " If you were not her father, I would have slapped you for being such a jerk, so Don't you dare say another word Against Joy, because I won't tolerate that.
Lisa looked so stunned and angry at Drake's behaviour and said, " Doctor, Drake, You can't talk to my father like that, And Please this is our family matter, so Please just say out of it."
Drake laughed with anger and said, " huh! family? do you even know what family means, Lisa? Huh? Because If you had known then you would not have chosen to leave Joy all alone, I don't understand How could be you so horrible, did not even think once what Joy would feel when you decide to go with this man, who never even cared where the hell was you all these years?"
Lisa looked so angry at Drake, she knew what he was saying was the truth but she was filled with so much Ego that she was not in her right mind to understand what was the truth, she just yelled in anger, "Why the hell is everyone so angry at me? I did not do anything wrong😠😠, I am going to live with my dad, so what's so wrong in that? Huh? What is so wrong, If I think about my life, my happiness, Why you are trying to make Joy look innocent one here? she can't do anything for me, I have every right to do what makes my life easier and happier."

Lisa left with her father, she could not just stand there and hear all of this.
Drake then went to Joy, she was sitting on the bench with tears in her eyes, Drake went to her and said, " Joy, Its time, you should come and say goodbye to your Mama."
Joy looked at Drake with pain and sadness in her eyes and stood up to go to her Mama, Joy stood beside her Mama's Casket and said😢😢, " Mama, I am sorry😢😢, I was not there when you needed me, I am so sorry, I could not say goodbye to you, I couldn't take care of Lisa, Please Forgive me, Mama."
Then Joy said her final goodbye to her Mama and asked Drake about Lisa but Drake told her that Lisa left a while ago.
After the Funeral got over , Joy sat on a bench and sighed deeply and stood up to leave.
Drake who was looking at her from afar saw Joy leaving the funeral place.
He ran to her and asked, " Joy? Where are you going?"
Joy turned to look at Drake and said, "Home, I don't want to be here anymore."
Drake looked at Joy in dismay and said, " you can't go to your house, You don't have the keys and Mr Gilbert is selling the house, so you can't go there."
" Why does it matter to you, where I go? Huh? I would go anywhere😣😢😢, far from here, far from you😢😢, So just let me go" said Joy holding her Tears😢😢.
" Drake clenched his fists and said In slight anger and worried tone, " It matters to me Joy, Because I care for you💕, and I can't leave you alone😢, so just come with me to my house🏡, please."
" I am not going anywhere with you, I just want to be alone, and I don't need your help Drake, and I can handle myself," said Joy in Dismay and trembling voice.
Drake can't just let Joy go anywhere, but he also knew Joy would not listen to him😟, he grabbed her hand and slightly yelled at her," Why can't you listen to me😠, Joy? I know you can Handle yourself, But you need a place to stay and rest, you still have a fever🤒🤧, Don't be so stubborn Joy, and Come with me, or I would go everywhere with you, I won't leave you alone."
Drake then holds Joy's hand forcefully 😠😢and made her sit at front car seat and told Embrey they were leaving and then he took Joy to his house.
He asked Joy to rest in his room, Joy went in his room , without saying a single word, she was too vulnerable, but she did not want Drake to see her this way, she was broken inside but couldn't express her pain in words to anyone.
Drake adjusted himself on the couch in the living room, he was worried about Joy, Joy's silence was bothering her, he knew behind this silence is a lot of pain and sorrow and it needs to come out or It will only hurt Joy more.
Drake was so exhausted because of the funeral work, but he still couldn't sleep because of Joy.
Two days have passed since Carol's funeral. Joy would hardly come out, she would hardly eat😞, she would just sit in the dark 😟with all lights off. Drake took a few days off from the hospital, he tries to make her eat but Joy won't, and it was making Drake more worried.
He called Embrey, to talk to her and ask her to meet him outside the house.

It was past 7 in the evening, As Drake reaches home, Drake went to his room to check on Joy, she was sitting on the bed. Drake went to the kitchen and began to prepare something to eat for Joy.
" She hasn't eaten anything since yesterday, she needs to eat something or she would be weak" wondered Drake as her prepared food.
Drake took the food to his room and asked joy to eat it, but Joy refused to eat anything.
Drake sat beside her and said, " Joy, you can't do this, You need to eat something, you haven't eaten anything since yesterday, please, at least eat a little and take your medicines.
But Joy just did not want to, she asked Drake to leave but Drake could not just go and let her get sick.
he gave the fork in joy's hand and asked her again to eat, with love 💖and compassion💖, Joy tried to push him away and asked him to leave but Drake came closer to her and begged her to eat something.
Joy got angry at this, she tried to push Drake away with the food but she accidentally hit Drake's hand with the Fork, Drake's hand got injured with the fork and he screamed in a slight voice, "Ugh!!!!😣😣" and held his hand to stop the blood.
Joy looked at Drake in Dismay, Drake stood up and he left the Food on the table left the room.
Joy did not want to harm Drake, she accidentally hit him, Joy knew Drake was trying to make her feel better, but she was not ready to let him help her.
Joy feels bad for hurting Drake. she came out of her room and saw Drake was sitting on the couch cleaning the blood from his wound.
As Drake saw Joy Coming to him, he looked at her and then kept cleaning his wound. Joy sat beside him and said with sadness over her face, " I am sorry Drake, I did not mean to hurt you".
Drake looked at and told her it was okay, he knows it was just an accident.
Joy took the ointment from his hand and began applying it on his hand herself and asked, " Does it hurt😟?"
Drake looked at joy with love💖 and pain😟 in his eyes and said, " Yeah! It does, It hurts a lot, Joy, and sometimes it is okay to say, it hurts, when it does, saying it, does not make you weaker but it makes you stronger when you let your pain out."
Joy looked back at Drake😢, she knew Drake was not talking about his injury, he was talking about her.
As Joy looked him in the Eye, drake held her hand and asked her to take her all pain out and just cry it out.
Joy couldn't hold back her tears 😢anymore, she broke down in tears😭😭😭 in front of Drake, Drake hugged her tightly💖💕 and patted her, Joy was crying hard in his arms😭😭,he did not stop her, He knew that She needs to cry and take all her sorrows out.
" Drake, Why did this happen to me? Why Lisa left me? I am adopted Drake, I am adopted, " said joy, as she kept crying hard.
Drake held her more tightly in her arms with love and care and console her. Joy just kept crying and crying😭😭.
