Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Revival.

A skinny looking woman with long black hair was walking to the cashier to pay for the food she got out of the supermarket. She had dark circles under her eyes and her skin was as white as paper. Her long hair was covering half of her face. She was wearing an oversized black sweatshirt on top of gray training pants. Lea was wearing the clothes she dubbed her 'Lazy clothes'. She would wear this when she was free from work. Not caring about her appearance at all and the looks other people would give her, that is how she lived.

From birth, she was left at an orphanage. She never got adopted and stayed there until she was an adult and allowed to live by herself. Ever since she started college she stayed in a small bedroom apartment. It wasn't big but that place was her own little paradise. And in her little paradise, she was able to do what she really wanted to do. And that was gaming. Lea was a hardcore raider in the popular MMORPG 'Heaven's law'.

And today was her free day, this meant that she could play all she wanted. She had the whole day planned out. First, put on her 'Lazy clothes', then go to the supermarket and stock up game food. This is why Lea was at the supermarket.

"That will be 6,45 please." The cashier said. "Here you go." Lea paid up and grabbed her food and put it in a plastic bag. Walking towards the exit of the supermarket a 'Ping' could be heard from her pocket. It was her phone. She grabbed it and opened her message.

-You ready to play the whole day Leaf?!- Crystal

It was Crystal one of her fellow guildies in 'Heaven's law'. Lea laughed to herself and was typing up a response while walking out of the door.

Everything turned black. That was the last thing Lea remembered. When she opened her eyes all she could see was a door light up ahead of her. What had happened to her? Where was she? With these thoughts, Lea made it to the door and opened it.

Inside she saw an old man sitting at a table looking up as he heard her come in.

"Ah, Lea. Come, sit." The old man said with a small smile. He had a big white beard and a bald head, wearing white simple robes and taking a sip of the tea that was in front of him. Lea walked over. "Where am I? And who are you? What happened to me?" Lea asked confused. She sat down in front of the old man and looked around the room. There was nothing else in the room except for the 2 chairs they both sat on and the table that was in between them.

"I am God. And I am sorry Lea but you are dead." The old man told Lea the smile on his face had disappeared and was replaced with a sad face. "You shouldn't have died today but something went wrong."

Dead? She was dead?! She hadn't even finished her college! She was only 22 years old! Her life hadn't even started yet but she was already dead?! "Dead?! I can't be dead! My life didn't even start yet!" Lea yelled at the old man in confusion. "What do I do now? What will become of me? What about Crystal and 'Heaven's law'? Was all my work for nothing?!"

"Lea, please calm down. Here drink some tea and let me explain." The old man waved with his hand and in front of Lea, a filled up teacup appeared. Lea had to take a minute to breathe in and out and calm herself enough to stop freaking out. On the outside at least. In her mind, a mini-Lea was running around and screaming.

"Dear child, it was not your time to die today. But the accident still happened. I called you here so I can give you a new life. A better one." The old man looked with a sorry smile at her.

"A new life." How was she gonna start a new life? She barely started this one and it was already over.

"Yes, a new life. Lea, I am going to send you to a different world. But I won't send you empty-handed. Because of the mistake that happened that took your life, I will grant you any ability you want to make your life easier." The old man stood up to the side and pointed to the white wall of the room. On it, a landscape started to appear. Lea could see some cities that looked like buildings that would have been made in the ancient times of her old world. Surrounded by forests and mountains. It looked nothing like her old world. This new world looked more peaceful and less destroyed by the people that lived in it.

"This is Coxar, a world vastly different from your old one. In this world, there is no technology. The people in this world live a simple life. It is not without its dangers, but I will make sure you will have everything you need to have a good life." The old man smiled.

"So, I am going to start a new life in Coxar? Will I be able to understand the people of this world? What is this ability you will give me?" Lea asked she wasn't so sure about this idea of the old man. He had introduced himself as 'God'. And it looked like he might be the real one. But that doesn't mean she would be thrilled with his idea.

"In the world of Coxar strength is important. You will need it to survive. You can think of Coxar as that game you played. 'Heaven's law', that is the one right? The game you always played in your old life." 'God' asked.

"Ah, yea I played 'Heaven's law'. Does this mean in Coxar there are also different classes like mages, warriors, priests and the rest?" Lea asked becoming more interested now that 'Heaven's law' came up.

"Not exactly, although there are warriors in Coxar. They are different than what you think. But I can grant you the power of a class of 'Heaven's law'. If you prefer that over the ability that the people of Coxar normally have."

"Please give me the ability of the druid class of 'Heaven's law' then. I rather have an ability that I know in and out than learn something new." Lea's eyes were sparkling. In the game 'Heaven's law' she may not have been the best druid in the whole game. But she was by no means a bad player. Her character 'Leaf' was a max level druid. She had spent hours on grinding it to the max level and getting it the best gear. And now she would get the ability to be her favorite class herself? She sure wouldn't say no to that.

"If that is what you wish then I shall grant you the powers of this druid class. But I will have to put some limitations on it. Else I will be afraid you will destroy Coxar by accident."

Lea nodded her head. That sounded fine by her. She was going to be able to be a druid! She didn't listen to 'God' as he was talking about the limitations he was gonna but on her ability. She just smiled at him and nodded while thinking of all the things she could do with her class.

"Owh, can you also let me be a master alchemist?" Lea asked. As a druid, she wouldn't need to worry about herbs for the profession.

"Yes, I can let you be an alchemist. But you have to work from the bottom if you want to become a master alchemist." 'God' told Lea. "Now Lea, I created a body. You won't need to worry about starting with being an infant again. I am going to let you start your new life at the age of 12 with all the knowledge you have now. I will also put you in a place in Coxar where you can learn a bit about your ability."

"Thank you, God." Lea smiled sincerely at the old man. She was looking forward to being able to be a druid! She was ready to go start her new life.

"Good, now have fun with your new life Lea." God waved with his hand again and Lea disappeared from the room. "Goodluck little child."

A bright flash shot out to all corners in a dark forest. After the light disappeared a little girl stood in the middle of the little open space. Lea looked around. She wasn't too happy about the spot God had chosen for her to start in. But she immediately got excited. She was a druid now! Let's see what she could do!

"Okay, Let's do this!" Lea threw her hand forward and open. "Vine whip!" She yelled. With sparkling eyes, she waited for a vine to come out of her hand and wrap around the tree she had her hand towards. But nothing happened. Lea got confused. 'Vine whip' was the first spell a druid would learn. It was the level 1 spell that would help her damage monsters and kill them. "Vine whip!" She yelled out again. But still, nothing happened. Had God lied to her? For over an hour Lea tried to get 'Vine whip' to work. But no vine appeared. No at her last try it even started to thunder and she was drenched by the sudden rainstorm out of nowhere.

This was not fair at all! How was she supposed to use her ability if nothing happened! Lea felt like crying. This wasn't how she had thought her new life would start!
