After some time, Lydia left with the others, and Logan took Claire back to her room.
The two of them remained silent before Logan asked.
"What happened when Davis came to visit you?"
Claire remained silent. She turned to look at him and held his hand, her eyes still smeared with a red hue.
"Words can't describe what I did to our son and what he told me later on. Go ahead and look into my memories, but don't be mad when you come to know what transpired, please?"
Logan knew Claire's outburst wasn't because of Lydia, because she loved her son more than anything else in the world except him. With her words, he finally knew it was just like he had thought.
Claire pouted, "And it's not like what you're thinking…"
Logan blinked, "What am I thinking?"
Claire pursed her lips before touching her bosom and swearing, "I swear Davis and I haven't done anything wrong. I misunderstood and wronged him all by myself."
