"He didn't ignore you. It's just not our time yet." Ivy Aries said, responding calmly, her tone steady with conviction.
Vereina shot her a scrutinizing gaze.
Having grown familiar with Ivy back in the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm, she'd quickly learned that the woman's straightforwardness was no act.
"You're also pining for him?" She asked, her gaze amused.
"Who isn't?" Ivy Aries looked away with a faint glimmer in her jade green eyes.
Her expression behind her semi-transparent veil carried a mesmerizing smirk.
"Sheesh, you're one confident woman." Vereina's lips curled.
"Well, I am." Ivy Aries answered coolly, "Besides, I don't want to annoy or pressure him, only to make him avoid me in the process. When he finds it appropriate, he will find me, and I will not reject him when that time comes."
