Kymani Contour died at nineteen. A bullet he never saw, on a sidewalk he walked every day. Nothing special. Nothing fair. Just dead.
Then he woke up in the dark.
Born into a walled world where humanity is stacked in layers inside massive towers, Kymani spent his childhood at the very bottom, raised by a cult that breaks children in the name of God. They tortured him for twelve years. They called it holy. What they didn’t know is that every time they broke him badly enough to kill him, he came back stronger.
Now he’s out. And he’s climbing.
Layer by layer, through factories that grind workers to dust, merchant streets that run on blood money, military strongholds full of killers, palaces built on the backs of people who will never see sunlight, and temples that preach lies written by false gods who feed on human suffering.
Every layer is the same. Different clothes. Different excuses. Same cruelty.
Kymani isn’t here to fix it. He isn’t here to lead a revolution or sit on a throne. He looked at the whole rotten structure from the bottom to the top and came to one conclusion:
The kindest thing he can do is end it. All of it. Everyone in it.
Including himself.
