Apparently, in the beast world, one's entire value can be decided on by passing one simple exam.
Well, it wouldn't be that easy if I flopped the whole thing.
I failed it, spectacularly too. But that wasn't me, and this isn't my body either, I just happened to transmigrate in the middle of the original owner failing the test.
Eager to do their duties, I was seized up by the Tribe and sent into the most forbidden area of the forest to be offered as a sacrifice as they wished me good luck.
I did not, in fact, have good luck.
I had zero survival skills, a bad attitude, and a very suspicious book that only answered my questions once a day like it was rationing wisdom. Rude!
Day one: How not to Starve
Day two: How not to freeze
Day three: Why is that beast staring at you like that?
That beast was a husky. Too cheerful. Too handsome. Way too comfortable deciding I was his problem now. Suddenly it dawned. If I can't survive, I might as well get me people who would help me survive.
A husky.
A wolf.
A snake, whichever could raise my chances of survival. Now the tribes are whispering, the gods are apparently watching, and me, I'm just trying to stay alive, keep my book from getting stolen, stop my mates from killing themselves so I can stay alive, and find a way back home.
Content warning.
