Reincarnated Royalty Isn’t a Fairy Tale

A young Indian IAS officer dies in the opening days of India’s descent into World War III—only to awaken in another world. At first, he takes this second chance at life more easily than he did his first. But as he studies the world around him, he discovers something far stranger. Its peoples, kingdoms, religions and civilisations bear an uncanny resemblance to those of Earth’s own ancient past. The difference is that this world possesses something his never did: magic. Determined not to repeat the mistakes of his old world—or those he made in his previous life—he sets himself an impossible task. He will take a powerful but fragmented civilisation and forge it into something new: a nation capable of surviving the ages to come. But building a nation is not a matter of simply introducing the ideas of a more advanced age. Disclaimer: If you are looking some white washed version of things especially religion and culture, please drive clear of this. I am a history nerd and will take things as they were, though with my own change in it as well. And this is not to say my views as same as the MC, I will have him be critical of things then I might be, both for Sanathana and others especially for Abrahamic ones. And again this will be as much as possible grounded in reality of the era. Another, this is more like a top down view of a story, you can expect the MC to invent some things and push some other but he isn't some all knowing dude as such I have other characters he teaches in order to get through scientific breakthroughs. And this applies even for the non-industrial parts, to say in other words, side characters are important, atleast for the physical development of the world.
