The Bloodline That Broke Heaven
In his last life, Gareth Draventhal worked himself to death behind a desk, another forgotten cog in a machine that never thanked him. Now he's eighteen again, penniless and alone in a border town, with a System that has given him one impossible purpose: build a family powerful enough to stand against gods.
To do it, Gareth must find women of extraordinary Aptitude and build a household whose children will inherit and surpass their potential. There's only one problem: no one in his hometown qualifies.
So Gareth leaves in search of a worthy wife, and finds far more than he expected. A mercenary queen refuses to lose to him twice. An elven princess abandons her throne to follow him. A goddess of a rival faith wants an heir carrying his blood, politics be damned.
As the Draventhal family grows, kings take notice, churches whisper his name, and ancient powers begin to wonder how a man with no title, army, or bloodline keeps building something they cannot touch.
By the time the old gods decide to stop him, they're already too late.
