Hito-Hito No MI, Model: Sukuna

I had been bested, beaten by a snot-nosed brat who lacked his own conviction, who latched onto others like they were his lifeline, like a parasite. I've always, and will always, believe my way was right; however, even as he stood before me, his body battered and bloody, he extended a hand, an offer; a pathetic offer, but one made nonetheless. To live side by side in some kind of delusional fantasy that I was anything but a monster, a curse, a being who enjoyed the chaos they sowed, and the despair they wrought, a pitiful delusion, one shackled by false hope and paper-thin trust. It would be worse than living under me and my rule, because at least one was reality, one was real, grounded, and rewarding. The other bred corruption like maggots to a corpse; it was a ceaseless, exhausting machine that would never reach its end, no matter how many maggots pushed it forward. But still, as my body began to dissolve, and I was left dangling in the darkness, set on the split paths before me, I couldn't help but want to try his way of things, just to satiate my curiosity, to see if I could breed my own version of it, to see if it would burn down in the end and show that it was just as stupid as I claimed. I didn't smile when I opened my eyes to find a room full of fur-covered men, their gobsmacked and excited gazes lingering on my form before they turned back to somewhere in the distance, their masses of voices creating an ugly symphony as some round objects were thrown into the crowd without care for where they landed. I didn't flinch when the men and women began to tear each other apart for whatever was thrown, no, instead, I caught my gaze locked to a man with pale horns, skin a burnt brown, and hair as dark as Tsukuyomi herself. He towered over everyone in larger, yet similar clothes the rest wore, casting a shadow over half the stage he stood on as his cheeks buzzed red with intoxication and his golden orbs glowered with a distant haze, almost as if he weren't even awake. It was when his gaze rolled over me that I smiled, because I shivered.
