Eldritch Lullaby

SmexyFlamingos
Eldritch horrors, anomalies, one might say are considered by most, if not all, to be evil. However, I would not say this is true, for out there in the emptiness of the void resides a being. People consider him, or should I say “IT”. Ageless, the beginning of sound, or to be more exact, Endless. Born from the first sound produced when the cosmos was created, and with his creation came a name that traveled across the void: Eranthis Rauk Imu Kôrath, or as he likes to call himself, “Erik.” Countless years pass, and a whispered hum flows through the void. There, but not there at the same time. If you ever manage to hear it, you might notice that this hum is different from a static roll. It is more like the sound of a tune: soft yet captivating, one that entices you to sit down and enjoy the melody. But this is not some cheerful beat one might expect. No, it feels lonely… almost sad to listen to. __________________________ This is a story about an eldritch being, born at the beginning of time from the first sound to ever be produced. Erik, a lonely fellow, has lived countless years alone in the emptiness of the void with nothing but his voice and a guitar he conjured after scouring through planets and civilizations from music “prayers” that flow to him no matter the distance. In his everlasting loneliness, he meets someone people of the modern age will recognize. She introduces herself as an Endless. Her name: Lady Death. Through her, Erik decides to venture out of his lonely life and try something new. This is where the adventure truly begins, as his music will finally be heard by countless others for the first time. I am writing this as my first novel. Understand that I am not good at writing at all. Hell, even this introduction took me an hour to come up with, and I still think it needs work. I just decided that since I have read almost every good and upcoming fan fiction on this site, I might as well try my own. Who knows? It might be a banger. This work is inspired by the fanfic Re:Life with Karmic Gacha (Modern Family). This is only inspired by that fanfic; I do not plan to use any of its ideas or plots. I just really liked it and wanted to put my own twist on things. The only thing I might be using is the format for writing song scenes. The world Erik will go to is a mashed-up world of different anime, TV shows, and movies, with some real-world characters as well. There will be a harem; however, I might keep it to two or three girls, depending on what you readers want. If you really want a couple more, I can add them, but no more than five. Like I said, I’m not great at writing, but I want to challenge myself, so why not? I’ll try my best to make sure no girl in the harem is forgotten, like in so many other novels. Chatgpt is used for spelling and grammar mistakes. Even when I used it for this intro I took out punctuation I did not like such as this ( — ) whatever the hell that is supposed to mean. If you guys see any mistake let me know in the comments for that chapter. __________________________ ALL CHARACTERS, TV SHOWS, MOVIES, ANIME, OR ANY OTHER PROPERTIES BELONG TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS. I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR ANY OF THEM. The only things I own are the main character, Erik, and any OC characters that appear. Hope you have a good read.

Wolf Princess Sold to the Dragon King

"Take me instead." Three words. Guinevere Lunaris trades herself and saves 300 lives. Tied. Gagged. Underestimated by a mile. They chain her to a tree in the snow. Mistake. While running for her life, she meets a stranger in the dark and tells him to hide so he isn’t killed. Twelve hours later, he walks into her father's hall wearing a crown. The man she just told to hide in a hole is Maddox Drakencrest, High King of Velkaris. Ruler of an entire continent. Maddox hears his dragon say ‘mate’ right away. But her wolf is silent. More and more Alpha Kings enter the hall. She catches the tail end of her father’s toast and chokes on her wine. "—leave here with a virgin bride." An auction for her hand turns into a full-out bidding war. Maddox wins. 750 million in gold, three dragon fleets, and an urn full of the bastard who chained her the day before. Every force in Velkaris is betting against a wolf on a dragon throne. The Elders say the queen must be a dragon rider, which is impossible for a woman without dragon blood. The king's half-brother agrees with them, but his solution is a civil war and taking the crown for himself. If his brother’s rebellion wins, Maddox dies and she belongs to him. If the elders win, she goes back to the father who sold her. Neither is happening. Her wolf calls Velkaris home. She's not giving it up. They expect Guinevere to behave like a good little wolf princess and play along with their political games. She says bet.

Raging Desires

Aine was born into simplicity and loved it. A warm family, a modest coffee shop, and a mother whose laugh made every ordinary morning feel like something worth remembering. It was not a grand life, but it was hers, and she never once thought to want more. Then her mother died, and the life she knew died quietly with her. Rebuilding meant starting over in a home that did not quite fit. A stepmother with expectations sharp enough to cut. A stepsister who made the distance between them feel deliberate. And a father who, despite everything, Aine never stopped loving, even when perhaps she should have. At Jade High, she learns to move through the world like a ghost. Unnoticed. Undemanding. Until Jokull finds her anyway, the school president, everyone's dream, and somehow, inexplicably, interested in her. For the first time since her mother's passing, something in Aine's carefully greyed world begins to stir. A fragile, terrifying thing that feels dangerously close to hope. But hope, she will learn, has a price. Her father, desperate and cornered, betrays the most powerful mafia organisation in the world. The consequences do not fall on him. They fall on Aine. Taken. Used as collateral. She endures pain, control, and betrayal. in those dark corridors that she will carry in her bones long after the bruises fade, abuses and pain that strip away whatever softness she had left and replace it with something harder, something that knows how to survive. And at the centre of it all is Ravi. The mafia's own. Dangerous and complex, with shadows in his past that run deeper than Aine initially understands. When the truth about Jokull surfaces, that he is not who he appeared to be, that his connection to the mafia world is older and darker than his charming smile ever suggested, Aine is faced with an impossible choice. She chooses Ravi. Not out of desperation. Not out of fear. She chooses him with her eyes open, and that choice changes everything. What begins as captivity slowly, painfully, honestly transforms into something neither of them planned for. Love grown in the hardest soil is still love. Ravi pursues her completely, and she lets herself be found. But Jokull refuses to disappear. He returns again and again, dragging trouble behind him like a shadow, until the violence of it costs Aine the one thing she cannot afford to lose. Her memories. Gone. All of it. The pain and the tenderness alike, swept clean. Ravi relocates with her, patient in a way no one who knows him would expect, and begins again. Slowly. Carefully. Planting seeds in ground he once nearly destroyed, watching something grow between them for the second time and understanding, now, how rare that is. But their love, rebuilt, fragile and real, is tested once more. The road to starting a family is not smooth, shadowed by fears neither of them speak aloud. Until the day Aine holds their child in her arms and the future, for the first time, feels possible. Then a ghost returns. A woman from Ravi's past. His childhood. The kind of history that does not knock before it enters. Tension bleeds into the life they have carefully built, and Aine stands at yet another crossroads. She has survived betrayal. Captivity. Loss. The erasure of her own story. She has chosen this man and this life more than once. But some battles cannot be won by simply enduring them. Will Aine fight for what she loves? Or will she finally, after everything, let love prove itself without her?
