Accompanied by the loyal lesser dragon Crimson and guided by a mysterious system born from his own authority, Milan begins his journey to survive and uncover the meaning of his existence. Rescued by a kind, unnamed half-elf, half-demon woman, Milan finds temporary peace in her care — a fleeting glimpse of motherly love he longed for even on Earth. Through her, he learns about the world’s structure, its divine trees, and the fading balance between races. When Milan names her “Mother”, a sacred bond forms, altering fate itself. But peace does not last. The merging of continents begins — a cataclysm caused by the Dragon King, who defies the world’s laws. Milan’s cursed heart becomes unstable, forcing him to flee with his mother and Crimson through a collapsing ravine toward the demon capital, Ragna, home of the Holy Demon Tree. There, Milan discovers the suffering of the demon people, the corruption of their leaders, and the truth about his father’s madness. Dragged into the Holy Tree’s roots, Milan is transported to the Frozen Continent, where his curse weakens and his dragon form finally awakens — a magnificent black-and-crimson being shimmering with the cosmos itself. Encountering the Frost Monarch, Emilia, and her daughter Chronoa, Milan learns the truth of his curse, the nature of naming, and the eternal war of power between dragons and gods.
