Dragon Age: The Wolf's Awakening

Elen_Dread_Wolf
“Everything I’ve done was for them… and now, no one can stop me. No one, except, perhaps… her". For centuries, civilizations have been built upon stories. Some sacred, others forbidden. But every story is a form of power. And every truth, a form of rebellion. This Book 1 speaks of guilt, faith, crushing responsibilities, and the first tremor of a love that does not yet understand the magnitude of what it will one day destroy. It is not rebellion yet; it is the dawn before the tragedy. I am not trying to retell Dragon Age: Inquisition. The explosion of the Conclave is only the starting point that allows me to narrate another story... the intimate origin of a relationship that will change the world. When I began writing this story during the pandemic, I too believed the tale Solas had sold us. But I came to understand it was only one version within a greater fiction. He was, after all, remembered as the god of Lies, Treachery and Rebellion, depending upon the story. This book is the origin of the woman behind the myth, and of love before the fall. It is an elven tragedy, and all I want is to bare the wound. "I'm begging for you to take my hand, wreck my plans...That's my man..." All recognizable characters, settings, names, and lore belong to EA and BioWare. This is a fan work based on the Dragon Age universe. Original characters may appear, but the story remains grounded in the world created by BioWare. I am not affiliated with the copyright holders in any way. No copyright infringement is intended. It took me a long time to find the right tone and turn for this story. This is the third time I write about them, and the first time it truly feels like the story moves forward. Solas is a character who touched something deeply personal in me, a thread of rebellion that runs through my own life. I always felt I owed him a fic. Though perhaps… I owed it to myself. Writing this was beautiful. A personal journey, through and through. This is my little gift to the community, but also, to the apostate I became. “The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” Inspirations: All the Dragon Age novels, codex, and games. RAYFIELD - RAY OF HOPE

RAYFIELD – RAY OF HOPE Rayfield – Ray of Hope is a deeply emotional family saga that explores love, betrayal, identity, consequence, and redemption. At its core, it reveals how lives are shaped by both choices and consequences, and how pain can be transformed into purpose, healing, and generational change. The story follows Lovelyn Bright, a disciplined and intelligent young woman raised in a strict, religious home in Queensberry. After graduating from the University of Silverbird, she moved to the city seeking independence and opportunity. There, she meets Douglas Collins, who appears supportive and trustworthy. However, he manipulates her vulnerability, leading to a traumatic pregnancy that shatters her identity and stability. When Lovelyn seeks support from her family, she is rejected and disowned. The loss is worsened by her mother’s death, leaving her isolated and struggling to survive. Despite this, she finds unwavering support in her friend Fedora Goodheart, alongside Jone Joe and Mrs. Angela, who become her chosen family. Lovelyn gives birth to Rayfield, a child born from pain but representing hope. As Rayfield grows, she faces stigma, emotional absence, and questions about her identity. Despite these challenges, she develops resilience, intelligence, and emotional strength, becoming a reflection of both her mother’s pain and growth. Meanwhile, Lovelyn rebuilds her life and becomes a voice for others facing similar struggles. She later meets Evans Konet, a patient and caring man who forms a stable bond with both her and Rayfield, offering a healthier model of love and family. In contrast, Douglas descends into destructive behavior, leading to imprisonment. Over time, Rayfield rises, excelling academically and developing strong emotional awareness. Her life changes when she meets Prince Japhet Fortune, and their relationship grows into a union built on respect. She eventually becomes Queen of the Kingdom of Liberty, symbolizing transformation and triumph over adversity. When Douglas is released, he confronts the consequences of his actions. In a defining moment, Rayfield chooses forgiveness. This act does not erase the past but frees her from it, demonstrating strength and emotional maturity while beginning Douglas’s path toward accountability. Ultimately, the story concludes with healing and resolution. Lovelyn finds peace, Rayfield embraces her identity, and broken relationships are redefined through truth and understanding. Rayfield – Ray of Hope teaches that pain can give birth to purpose, brokenness can reshape destiny, and forgiveness is the highest form of freedom. What Do You Mean I Have To Comprehend Dao As A Mortal God?

Six years ago, the very first portal appeared that carried mana into Earth, awakening powers within humans. Some used them for selfish reasons while others thought to use them for the betterment of society. Everything changed when monsters appeared through these portals and humanity had to fight back against them for our survival. Amongst them were individuals who had awakened godlike powers that came straight from mythology: A New Yorker who has multiple pairs of wings sprouting from his back while carrying a scroll and pen; A Ukrainian firefighter who controls fire with the embodiment of a primordial demon; and even a Japanese historian who wields lightning that materialises floating drums on his back. They were Mortal Gods, mortals that had the power of Gods and now stand above humanity to supposedly protect us from the monsters beyond the portal. I was just another normal awakened human who was about to meet my end when a jade book appeared in front of me. What do you mean I have to comprehend Dao?! *** Notes: Any R-rated scenes will be denoted by a '*' followed by an 'R' with the number of 'R's showing how much of it is R-rated.
