Knowledge is the key to power and the Ark is the great primordial library of this world.
Did you know that life in this world of ours came from the stars? But the Arks are not singular events and subsequent Impacts vie to change the texture and very denizens of the world. This world experienced three Reseedings:

The third Ark gifted godlike powers to certain resonators from birth but in return stripped an aspect of their humanity.
Some call these Star Seeds akin to spirits of nature, some call them demons.
