World of Chronicles - The first mandate
When Earth is consumed by the falling star known as the Celestial Descent, humanity’s last survivors are not saved by science, armies, or kings, but by a mysterious divine phenomenon called the Celestial Gate.
Thrown into Shanhai Tianyu, a living world of ancient mountains, spiritual beasts, forgotten gods, hidden ruins, and celestial laws, the remnants of mankind are given one final chance to rebuild civilization. But this new world is no empty paradise. Its forests watch. Its mountains breathe. Its rivers remember. And every oath, conquest, betrayal, and sacrifice is recorded by the Chronicle of Ten Thousand Eras.
Among the first chosen settlers is Ji Yuan, a young man with no noble blood, no overwhelming martial talent, and no divine weapon. His inheritance is a broken jade seal, a starving group of refugees, and a forgotten patch of land called Qinghe.
While other lords raise armies through fear and cultivators seek immortality through power, Ji Yuan discovers a different path: the Mandate of Humanity. His strength does not come from solitary cultivation, but from the people who choose to stand with him, the laws he builds, the dead he remembers, and the land that slowly begins to accept his name.
To survive, Ji Yuan must turn mud into walls, refugees into citizens, markets into lifelines, and a dying settlement into a kingdom. But as Qinghe rises, so do its enemies: ruthless warlords, ancient sects, hungry merchants, awakened beasts, and celestial powers that believe humanity must be controlled before it repeats the sins that destroyed Earth.
In a world where land can cultivate, history can judge, and the heavens may abandon tyrants, Ji Yuan must answer one impossible question:
Can a broken people build a civilization worthy of the Mandate of Heaven?
