After yet another wave of complaints about his “generic” web novel, struggling author Alaric loses it.
"Fuck you all," he snaps at the comments, slams his laptop shut, and heads off to drown his frustration in beer. But before he can even crack open a can, a chilling voice answers his curse.

In the blink of an eye, Alaric is thrown into the very novel he wrote—into the body of his own weak, green-haired protagonist. Now he's stuck in a world he barely bothered to flesh out, one where his family lives in poverty, his stats suck, and the system he created is way more punishing than he remembers.
Armed with nothing but his sharp tongue, bitter regrets, and meta-knowledge of a plot he barely remembers, Alaric has one job: fix the story.
Because here, failure isn’t just a bad ending.
It’s death.
