Phantom Saga
Hill never expected to be conscripted into the global war against a disease known as the soul plague. When afflicted by the plague, victims would fall dead instantly, turning into horrible abominations that would wreak havoc.
However, some of the victims survived and became awakened beings with superhuman powers. As the awakened joined the fight against the growing horde of monsters, the world government began a conscription initiative to create as many awakened as possible in order to take down the horde.
However, when Hill is infected by the plague, he finds himself thrown into a brutal new reality that leads him to question if the plague really is a plague or if its something else entirely.
Worse yet, an insidious curse now clings to him, following him wherever he goes.
