The Eternal Gambit

Alvin was just another waiter, trying to make a living in another country where living was a battlefield. But all of a sudden his life took an unexpected turn when their restaurant had a not usual guest. One night, all it took was one night to turn his life upside down. Alvin became something he thought was only possible in myths or movies. His life meant a lot, and not just to himself. Now he must learn to steel himself to prepare for what's to come, to shed his fear of death, and to move on from the loss of his loved ones. To live like a VAMPIRE. ...and to feed like one. The only relief he had after discarding his identity as a human was that he could still eat his favorite stuffed garlic bread. As he moved on with his life, day by day, facing challenges upon challenges, Alvin started sensing something amiss about himself, about his life. Why did it suddenly start to feel like something was watching his every move from the shadow? Why did every action seem to be pushed by someone lurking behind the scenes?
