It was all well and good in the 21st century until suddenly, mankind's fears started to materialize into misty physical entities called Spectres. Despite the latest technology they could have had at the moment, imagine the seven bilion humans having their one or more fears materialize... At the same time. It plunged the whole world into chaos When humanity was almost at its end, seven Royals who bore abilities descended and begun pushing back the Spectres through relentless fighting. They are but humans, and there was only so much they could do. The last of humanity were divided into seven regions/Empires where each Royal would protect and rule over them. For eight centuries the same hierarchy and ranking system were used, until this generation came along An Emperor who wants complete dominance over the whole seven regions, another who plans for democracy, Those who wish for the humans to protect themselves and the ones who just want to live their own lives. These are the current generation Emperors, and all commoners would rather their independence than be ruled by them. Along with his stupid Vassals and annoying Agents, Javier suppresses the Shadowfall Invasion threatening to break through the frontlines all the while fighting against wandering Spectres in the city.
