The Gods have fallen. This is an era without them.
No longer can mortals transcend and escape the shackles of their existence. The ancient world which possessed primal powers flowing through the universe has depleted the resource to step over extinction. Legendary battles spanning whole realms have all but become a thing of the past. All that remains are those who presume themselves to be masters of the Divine. With resources depleted and legacies barely remaining, the passion of cultivators who sought to defy the heavens have also cooled. The drive for cultivation weakening, the level of achievable strength lowering—one truth is self-evident.
The world itself is slowly heading toward an end.
Yet even that truth is far from the minds of those who live on Blue Pole star where even the first realm of Divinity is a concept out of myth.
In this fantastical world where people chase myths in search of greater power, a man works toward a future of battles with Gods. Even if they've perished, even if they no longer exist. Even if no new ones can come into existence, a man seeks impossible strength to battle against the impossible. A transmigrator who didn't belong in his world finally found a world where he could truly become himself.
Everything must return into the sea of chaos for a new beginning to dawn.
