Qui- Gon Jinn looked behind him. He saw the same man on a speeder rapidly approaching them.
"Run, Anakin!" Qui- Gon screamed as he picked up the pace while tracking the speeder.
Meanwhile, Malak did a rapid break-turn. Changing the flight path. That positioned him at the right attack vector. He dived and started shooting toward the speeder. Darth Maul quickly zig-zagged through the rapid bursts of fire. Even with the force precognition it became increasingly harder to dodge all the shots. Because even knowing where the shots are going to land the enchanced brain of a force user can't follow dozens of shots and control a clunky albeit fast machine.
Malak's ship closed the distance, flying barely 40 meters above the ground.
Darth Maul jumped from the speeder seconds before 6 shots hit it destroying it immediately. He threw his lightsaber toward the ship.
Malak like a possessed person moved the wing out of the way of the saber. The red light saber passed the ship barely missing it. Malak quickly opened the canopy and shot 3 missiles in the air. 2 of them flew toward Darth Maul and 1 toward the light saber. Darth Maul barel rolled below the rocket, he stretched out his hand and controlled the saber shutting it down while dodging the lone rocket. He pulled the saber while continuing running towards Qui-Gon Jin. But it was already too late Qui-Gon was already on the ship. The Nubian Royal starship moved above ground rapidly gaining ground. Malak passed above the stranded sith and waved provocatively. And moved next to Padme's ship.
The Sith seething from his failure screamed. Releaseing his dark powers.
Soon the ships broke the atmosphere. Tatooine quickly shrinking behind them.
Soon a commlink call broke the silence of the Vorn stealth ship.
"Malak we are going towards Coruscant here's the exit coordinates.
"Understood." Malak said while coordinating the info for his computer so they can jump and exit simultaneously.
Nine hours later Coruscant came into view.
"Follow us. We have clearance" The pilot of the ship said.
Malak quickly complied and flew next to the royal ship. As they descended the Coruscant towers became bigger and bigger like a speck of dust the two ships moved through the endless traffic. Soon they entered the special restricted zone where the republic senate resides. The royal ship landed onto the vip landing pads while Malak was ordered to land in the visitors pads. Malak quickly landed. He exited from the ship. And saw a blue guard watching him. He sighed as he left his bolt rifle and blaster leaving only his bolt pistol and his blaster sidearm.
The blue guard approached him and gave him a pass.
"This is special security pass. It is valid until the queen is on Corusant strictly only for the senate. You may proceed." The guard said professionally as he turned back moving next to his station. The mando moved toward the royal ship. Soon the ramp opened and the decoy Queen exited first.
"Your majesty." Senator Palpatine said as he bowed to his queen.
"Senator, lead the way." The queen said as she moved next to the senator, while Palpatine moved a half step behind her. But still enough so the queen can see where the path is.
The mandalorian stood next to Padme and the jedi.
If you excuse me, I must take Anakin to the temple. But can I get a favor from you Padme? The jedi asked.
"Of course Master Qui-Gon Jin, how may I help? Padme answered.
"Can I borrow the mandalorian for today. I need him to help us analyse your hunter" Gui-Gon asked while looking at the mandalorian.
"We are in the cradle of the democracy of the known galaxy. So I think we will be fine with just our guards. Mr. Malak Vorn can go with you." Padme said with a smile."
"I refuse." The mandalorian said.
"Wha." Padme said before Malak interrupted her.
"I don't need to fight him I need to protect you. I have no responsibility toward the jedi." Malak said.
Padme looked at him with a questioned look.
"Yes I understand but I want to know who attacked me." Padme said.
"500 credits per hour when I am helping them and that will be written as subcontract to the main one." The mandalorian said.
"Uuuhg, ok." Padme said.
Immediately Malak turned to the jedi.
"Lead the way master Jin." Malak said.
Gui-Gon smiled and moved towards Obi-Wan and Anakin.
Soon they took the shuttle.
"You did that farce for the credits?" Qui-Gon asked."
"My services are not for free Jedi." Malak said as he looked through the window.
"Master Jin, do we really need him." Obi-Wan said.
"Ofcorse, after all he records everything. We can use the tapes to show it to the Jedi council." Gui-Gon said while he smiled.
"What?" Anakin asked.
"Well, our mandalorian friend wants to be a holonet vlogger so he clips exciting moments to his bounties. He even uploaded a video with Master Windu. Destroying a sith artefact." Master Gui-Gon said while he looked toward the mandalorian.
Meanwhile Malak was secretly embarrassed but under the cold beskar armor no such thing showed.
"Wait really, you want to be holonetter?" Anakin asked with excitement.
"Just a hobby, kid and a good promotional material for any clients." Malak answered evenly.
"Well he has 74 milion followers. A small creator." Gui-Gon said with a hint of irony.
Malak looked at him and silently raged at the mocking tone.
Soon the group arrived at the jedi temple.
Malak entered into the massive arch when he entered at the temple proper he saw a massive hall full of small figures that heavily contrasted to the soulless grandeur of the building. Countless xenos roamed around every one of them moved disorderly but the vibe was that they walked with one collective purpose. All of the Jedi walked at the same speed. Wore the same clothes. Had the same simple style of haircuts. It looked like that every person was exactly the same as the one next to him, but still different. Or so Malak thought.
A/n low key the jedi are capitalistic communists. Collective good of the galaxy? You are the good guy if you sacrifice for the common good? Doesn't that smell red?
After countless corridors the group reached the centre of the temple. There a massive elevator stood guarded by the same masked jedis, the group passed them and got up to the highest floor. Soon they exited the elevator and Gui- Gon turned around. I will enter with Malak, Obi-Wan look after Anakin. Gui-Gon said.
"Yes master." Obi-Wan answered as he looked with complicated eyes towards Anakin.
Malak moved next to the jedi master and both entered into the jedi council chamber.
There many sitting xenos stood at a perfect semicircle while a small green xenos stood at the lead in their perfectly uncomfortable chairs.
"Greetings Masters." Gui-Gon said as he bowed slightly towards the green gremlin.
"Greetings to you jedi Gui-Gon." The green snot answered.
I must report about the mission you gave me.
First to the part that our friend from mandalor would help and next to the other tasks concerning the mission. " Gui-Gon said.
"Proceed. you shall hmmm." Yoda said while looking toward the Mandalorian.
"This is Malak Vorn he is hired by the queen for the rest of the blokade. We encountered a force user using red light saber he was fully engulfed with the dark side. And yet he was not mad. So I think he is a Sith." Gui-Gon said.
"Impossible the siths have been extinct for a millennium." Ki Adi Mundi said.
"And yet he is not a mindless beasts like some of my other bounties." Malak said.
"Malak Vorn, you are, through the video you uploaded, we know you.Hmmm." Yoda said.
"Your fight, you recorded too?" Yoda asked.
Malak confirmed as he pulled out a small holo projector.
There he showed the sequence of events of his fight with Darth Maul.
"See here…." The mandalorian stopped the recording.
"See how he moved with purpose. He moved differently from other dark jedi I fought. "Malak said.
"While on the ship moving through the hyper space. I checked our ancient database of the Vorn clan and I found that he uses the sith stance Juyo."
I cross checked it with videos of users such as Darth Malak and the leader of revanshists Revan. While similar they had different styles of that said style. But it's undeniable that they used it. With the old data I also saw that this style has almost no resemble to the jedi styles."Malak said.
"Killed a lot of dark users, you did?" Yoda asked.
"It doesn't matter. Jedi." Malak said. As he stepped behind Gui-Gon.
"You will answer." Master Windu intervened.
"No I won't. While section 9 of the jedi law says that all dark users should be persecuted and punished by the jedi council. That doesn't give supremacy to the the fact of the common fact of the justified self-defence. And they attacking me first makes it justifiable self defence. " malak quickly answered while reading the law inside his mask.
"But you took their bounties." Master Windu said as he stared the mandalorian.
"Prove it. Or stop accusing me mindlessly." Malak answered sharply.
