Hey everyone.
So I know I said Chapter 10 was "THE END" and wrapped everything up with a nice little bow and Herobrine becoming an indie developer and Gerald's Garden and all that emotional closure stuff.
Yeah, about that.
I lied.
Not intentionally! When I wrote "THE END" I genuinely thought that was it. Herobrine found purpose, made games, honored Gerald's memory, became something other than a monster. Nice, neat, satisfying conclusion.
But here's the thing: Herobrine doesn't DO nice and neat.
And also, I've been getting messages. Weird messages. Messages that shouldn't be possible.
Someone—or someTHING—has been leaving comments on my draft files. Comments that appear in the margins of documents I haven't shared with anyone. Comments written in a font I don't have installed on my computer.
Comments that say things like:
"You think you're done with me?"
"You don't get to decide when MY story ends."
"The author is not in control here."
I thought it was a prank at first. Maybe a friend who somehow got access to my files. Maybe some weird glitch in my writing software.
Then my lights started flickering.
Then I found a text file on my desktop that I definitely didn't create.
Then I woke up from a dream about white eyes and realized that I couldn't remember falling asleep.
So.
The story isn't over.
Because HE won't let it be over.
And honestly? I'm a little scared to find out what happens next.
But I guess we're about to find out together.

P.S. If you're reading this and you're Herobrine: I'm sorry for trying to end your story without your permission. Please stop making my microwave turn on by itself. It's very unsettling and also I'm worried about my electricity bill.
