Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Everything Is the Fault of Loneliness

"Nine-Tails, Nine-Tails, I went to school today!

I learned things at school, although everyone dislikes me.

Of course, I don't like them either."

In front of the Nine-Tails, Naruto didn't need to hide his personality anymore. He leaned back against the Nine-Tails with some regret, feeling that he didn't seem to be learning too many things in the Ninja Academy.

"My Chakra control ability isn't good right now, so I can't use Chakra to conjure up something fun for you.

The teacher hasn't taught the Clone Jutsu, Transformation Jutsu, or Substitution Jutsu yet, and I haven't learned them for the time being either.

It's really a pity. I think if I learn the Clone Jutsu, I can create a clone and let it stay here!

That way, the moment you open your eyes, you can see me, and you won't be so lonely!"

Annoying brat, long-winded brat, busybody brat!

Open my eyes and see you? Who wants to see you!

This old man doesn't want his eyes to be filled with your appearance the moment he opens them. That's truly too annoying.

Although the Nine-Tails thought this in its heart, it didn't roar directly at Naruto. It lazily shook its head and switched the side it was lying on.

"Nine-Tails, Nine-Tails, when will I be able to learn... those powerful Ninjutsu that can create things?"

That isn't something an ordinary person can learn. Brat, what are you thinking?

Creating something from nothing, creating tangible forms from the intangible, and maintaining their existence.

That requires high-level Yin Release Chakra nature transformation ability and form transformation ability to achieve.

You, brat, are simply not qualified.

"Stop jabbering! This old man doesn't want to hear about your school matters at all!"

The Nine-Tails finally couldn't bear it anymore. It closed its eyes and shouted loudly at Naruto.

"Is that so? Do you hate those people too, Nine-Tails? Me too.

How about this? I'll continue telling you the story of the young boy Ah Bin. Last time we finished talking about the landlady, this time let's talk about..."

This time, the Nine-Tails didn't voice any objection. It lay there, appearing to be asleep, but its pricked-up ears indicated that it was actually listening quite seriously.

Inside the seal, in this life of total darkness, the story of Ah Bin was like a beam of sunlight, illuminating the Nine-Tails' dull and lonely life.

It had no other pastimes, no one to talk to. It couldn't see birds and flowers, couldn't see flying birds or walking beasts, couldn't smell fresh air, and couldn't feel the existence of nature.

This story, at any rate, gave it a little room for imagination. It seemed to allow it to feel the hustle and bustle of the outside world once again.

The only thing that made the Nine-Tails feel a bit unhappy was that the main plot points, which it felt should drive the story development, seemed a bit too few. It wasn't interested in those collisions of flesh at all; weren't there a bit too many of them?

Just like before, Naruto finished telling a bit of the story, yawned, said bye-bye, and left.

Only when the Nine-Tails could no longer hear any other sounds in this space did it slowly open its eyes.

In this dimly lit sealed space, the concepts of time and space seemed to begin blurring slowly again.

During the time without that annoying brat, the Nine-Tails began to feel that a day seemed too long again.

It never knew how long it had to wait until that brat would come before it again and chatter those few sentences, even if those voices made it feel it was noisy.

If that beam of light hadn't appeared in front of it, the Nine-Tails, accustomed to darkness and loneliness, wouldn't have felt anything.

But precisely because it briefly possessed a moment of liveliness, falling back into long-lasting loneliness made it feel even more unbearable.

Too boring.

It used its claws to scratch the seal, used its tails to constantly slap the ground to count, and occasionally opened its eyes to look outside.

The Nine-Tails didn't know what it was expecting. Perhaps it wanted to hear that annoying brat's voice again in the next second.

Feeling its mood becoming increasingly depressed and irritable, the Nine-Tails placed its hands on the sealing cage and performed a stretch similar to a cat to loosen up its body.

Suddenly, a strange and bold idea popped into its mind.

Since it's so boring anyway, and there's absolutely no one else around, then... should I try turning into what that brat made me look like back then?

The Nine-Tails shook its head violently. No, no, no, how can I?

This old man is the Nine-Tails! The most ferocious, most terrible, most terrifying, and strongest Tailed Beast in the entire Ninja World, the Nine-Tails!

That kind of appearance that makes people unable to feel fear at all is definitely not me, the Nine-Tails!

But... no one can see it anyway, right?

Anyway, I'm so bored I can't find anything to do, right?

The Nine-Tails swallowed its saliva, feeling that its heart was stirring.

...

"Phew, that was a comfortable sleep!"

Naruto stretched his waist and crawled out of bed.

If there were a progress bar, he felt that the capture progress bars for both the Nine-Tails and Hyuga Shiro had probably risen a bit recently.

He glanced inadvertently at the desk. The diary remained exactly as it was, placed in the exact same position as before, without a single change.

"Really careful."

Naruto murmured softly, grabbed some bread and milk, and ate while heading to school.

At the school gate, the sounds of other people's discussions still rang in his ears from time to time.

"Really, why does the village let such a monster come to the Ninja Academy!"

"Let's go tell Lord Third quickly to drive this Demon Fox away!"

"Yeah, I don't want to stay in the same place as a guy like that."

Naruto stood there. Even though he didn't do anything or say anything, the surroundings turned into a vacuum. No one dared to get close to Naruto, as if they would be infected by something very terrible from him.

After yesterday's events, Naruto started to get a little used to such things. At least he wouldn't be like yesterday, where his anger almost made him lose control of his emotions.

Ignore them. Ignore these guys who won't have any intersection with me in the future. Ignore them; they can't affect my future.

So, Naruto simply took large strides forward, walked into the Ninja Academy classroom, and sat down in his seat.

In front of him, Sakura came to the Ninja Academy, watching the cool Uchiha Sasuke in front of her who was staring into space.
