Chapter 1 - The Floating Island

Gracia looked up at the sky. Something was strange. A golden light shone above the clouds. His heart beat faster. It was as if the world itself was calling him. Every day he had worked hard, carrying heavy loads in his small town, helping people, and dreaming of adventure. But this… this was different.

Without thinking, he ran to the highest hill near his home. The wind blew strongly. It seemed alive, pushing him forward. Gracia's hands gripped his two swords on his back tightly. He took a deep breath and jumped.

For a moment, he felt nothing but the air around him. Clouds surrounded him, soft and glowing in the sunlight. He looked down. The tiny houses of his town looked like toys. Rivers reflected the light like silver ribbons. He laughed in disbelief. His heart was racing with excitement.

Suddenly, the hill was far below. He felt like he was flying. The wind whipped through his hair, and his clothes flapped wildly. Birds with colorful feathers flew around him. They chirped and circled him, as if welcoming him to a new world. Gracia smiled. He had never felt such freedom.

After a few minutes, he landed softly on a patch of green grass. His knees bent slightly as he absorbed the impact. Around him were waterfalls, tall and shining, falling into clouds below. Strange creatures peeked from behind trees. Small birds with wings like rainbows hopped on branches.

Gracia looked at everything carefully. He drew his swords and held them in front of him. They felt light in his hands, perfectly balanced. "This is… real," he whispered. "A floating island… I can't believe it."

He started walking slowly. The grass was soft under his feet. Every step made a sound, a light crunch. Flowers in colors he had never seen before swayed gently. The air smelled sweet and fresh. He felt as if he had entered a dream.

Gracia climbed a small hill to see more of the island. From the top, waterfalls stretched far into the distance. The water sparkled like diamonds in the sun. He could see trees that glowed faintly, as if they had magic inside them. Birds flew between them, singing songs he had never heard.

"This… is amazing," he said softly. He sheathed his swords for a moment and touched a flower. Its petals felt soft and warm. A small creature with big eyes and a long tail peeked at him. Gracia smiled and waved. The creature tilted its head, curious but shy.

He laughed quietly and drew his swords again. "I need to be ready," he said. "Who knows what is waiting for me here?" The island seemed peaceful, but his instincts told him that adventure and danger were close.

Gracia moved forward carefully, observing the waterfalls and cliffs. He saw a narrow path between two rocks. He decided to take it. The path was steep and covered with soft moss. He climbed carefully, using his swords to balance himself.

Above him, sunlight broke through the clouds. It made the waterfalls shine even more. The sound of water falling was calming, but also exciting. He could feel the island's power. Every leaf, every bird, every stone seemed alive.

When he reached the top of the path, he looked around. The island was bigger than he had imagined. There were hills, forests, rivers, and even what looked like a small village far away. Smoke rose from the chimneys, but no people were visible.

Gracia's eyes sparkled. "I need to explore," he said. "This is the adventure I have always dreamed about." He tightened his grip on the swords. He ran down the hill, feeling the soft grass under his feet. The wind pushed him forward, like it wanted to guide him.

As he moved, he heard a sound behind him. A strange cry, high and melodic, echoed between the waterfalls. Gracia stopped. He looked around. The trees moved, but he saw nothing. His heart beat fast. He whispered, "Who's there?"

A small creature with wings appeared from the trees. It had blue fur and eyes that shined like crystals. It looked at him curiously, then flew closer. Gracia knelt down. "I'm Gracia," he said. "I'm not here to hurt you." The creature tilted its head, still cautious.

Gracia smiled and stayed still. Slowly, the creature hopped on his shoulder. He felt its soft fur. "I think… we will be friends," he whispered. The creature chirped happily.

He continued walking, now with the creature following him. The island seemed alive in a way he had never known. Every step brought a new sound, a new color, a new feeling. He saw birds with wings like fire, flowers that glowed in the dark, and rocks that shimmered under the sunlight.

Gracia's swords felt light and ready. He practiced small swings, testing his reflexes. The air seemed to respond, guiding his movements. He laughed softly. "I can feel it," he said. "I am ready for whatever comes next."

Hours passed, but it felt like minutes. Gracia explored rivers, forests, and small hills. He discovered hidden caves and sparkling stones. Every corner of the island was magical. His heart was full of excitement and wonder.

Finally, as the sun started to set, the golden light above the clouds grew stronger. Gracia stopped and looked up. The sky was full of orange and pink colors. The wind whispered around him. He felt that something important was about to happen.

He sheathed his swords and took a deep breath. "Tomorrow," he whispered. "Tomorrow, the real adventure begins."
