Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 – The Rhythm of Love

As time went by, it became harder to find moments alone together. Her father had lost his job and was now home almost all the time, which meant privacy was rare — precious, even.

We had to get creative.Every meeting became a small adventure, a secret world that belonged only to us.Sometimes, we'd stay up late, whispering over the phone until we were sure everyone at her house was asleep. Then I'd sneak over, and we'd meet quietly on the terrace, under the stars, careful not to wake anyone.

Other nights, we'd just walk through the empty streets, hand in hand, laughing at nothing in particular. Those stolen hours felt like the most honest version of freedom — no expectations, no interruptions, just us and the night.

One night, it was almost one in the morning when she messaged me.

"Everyone's asleep," she wrote. "Meet me outside."

When I saw her, she was wearing a light dress that swayed softly in the breeze. Her hair was loose, her eyes glowing even in the dim light. We didn't need to say anything. The way she looked at me said it all — that same mixture of affection, mischief, and something deeper.

We stayed close, speaking quietly, our hands brushing as we shared stories about the day, our dreams, our plans. The tension between us was still there, of course, but it had changed. It wasn't just physical anymore — it was emotional, spiritual.Every touch felt like a promise, every kiss like a reminder that what we had was real.

At some point that night, I told her I loved her.The words slipped out naturally, without fear or hesitation.

She smiled — that beautiful, genuine smile that had captured me from the beginning — and whispered back,

"I love you too."

In that moment, I knew it wasn't just passion driving us anymore. It was something deeper — a bond built from every secret smile, every late-night conversation, every moment we risked just to be together.

And for the first time, I realized that love wasn't about perfection or timing — it was about connection.Even when the world made it hard, we always found a way.
