Moon's pov
One day later after the fight with the spider, my body aches in pain and soreness "i should have really objected to going to this god damned mission." I think to myself, annoyed and frustrated "but its finally my last day in this extra-hell." I stretch my arms before grabbing the odachi i stole from a skeleton corpse "a shame this beautiful blade was forgotten."
I then start heading towards the sparring arena, seemingly trying to find a test subj- i mean sparring buddy. I then notice Rufus, son of winwraith. "Hey you! Little noble princess" i yell out mockingly before throwing a pair of leather gloves at his face, making a thawck sound as it hits his face
Rufus pov
"You stupid worthless dog! How dare you challenge me you peasant." I scream out in frustration, my anger boiling over. "Have you forgotten your place or should i remind you, commoner?" I then walk with moon to the main arena "its time to beat some manners into you"
I ready the sword at me hip with a cocky grin, expecting to win easily i then suddenly lunge forward slashing and swinging with all i got... But hes evading each one!
Moons pov
"Damn this guy is sloppier than a wet floor" i say provokingly, watching as his anger boils over and swings even more wildly now "you can do better, my dead grandmas ashes can dodge this." I say with a slight giggle, angering him even more. "All you're gonna do is run away you pathetic mutt?!"
I get annoyed at his insult "fine, i guess i still have to bother myself with weaklings" i then jump and spin in the air, i reinforce my blade with magical energy and slash his back. "Jeez, thats gonna leave a mark. You're lucky you're not in two pieces." I say almost to myself, because the guy is knocked out cold on the ground after i ..not so accidentally.. hit him in the back of the head.
"And i thought even the strongest in here would make sweat a little... what a shame." I sheath my weapon and turn my back and walkway, as i walk through the hallway of the arena my mind flashes to the goal shadow guy set for me, and why i am connected to the five calamity's. "I have many questions...but he said at level one hundred thousand then id see him again, makes you wonder how strong those five calamity's are." As i finally arrive to my barracks, i pack my stuff and take what little there is i even have "i should hurry to my family."
And i still want to enroll at shadovias magic Academy, no matter how strong i am i still need to make friends...."I'll just put that thought away for now." I reach for the door handle and finally leave, walking towards the receptionst.
"Greetings, how may i help you good sir?" She says, her tone professional and confident. "Id like to check out please." I turn around to the exist as she takes my mercenary card.
"IM FINALLY OUT OF THIS HELLHOLE!" I yell out gleefully, excitement laced in my tone as i jump up in anticipation for seeing my family.
My mind then briefly goes to the five evil calamity's that seemingly ruined the world, thinking that they had a reason to attack the world. "They wouldn't just attacks out of nowhere, maybe it was an order from a divine being of some sorts"
Shadow guys pov/Shadovis pov
"This kids guesses are spot on huh."
I turn around and think "he reminds me of my brother before hes gone mad, his soul has a connection with me and brother for a reason."
I look at the boy i chose, moon. "Your fate and destiny will have great hurdels, but you will save this world. I've seen it with my own eyes, or rather, emperor moon. You interest me alot."
Moons pov
"i miss my family, i wanna go home and see them... If they're still alive, you never know what happens in a few years." My voice breaks, as the world around me Begins to black out as i sleep in the carriage carrying me home
