Tonia's POV
I wanted to fight back, but my tongue felt like lead in my mouth, refusing to obey my commands.
Bradley grabbed my phone from behind me, forcing my limp finger against the sensor until it clicked open.
All I could do was watch as he browsed through my contacts with casual indifference.
"Well, well. A. Kermit with a heart emoji," he read aloud, his voice dripping with mockery. "Does your precious mate know you've marked his name so sweetly?"
"Please..." The word barely escaped my lips, so faint I wondered if he even caught it.
His grin widened with cruel satisfaction as he pressed the call button.
Kermit' POV
The Council meeting had dragged on far too long. Every Elder in that room wore the same expression of deep concern when discussing Bradley's recent activities.
Their solution was simple: let me handle my brother personally.
