"Damn it, don't run!" Kingpin wiped the blood from his nose, roared, and began to chase. But the speed of the subway car was not something a normal man could match. The car, carrying Miles, quickly disappeared from Kingpin's line of sight behind a wildly skewed structure.
Kingpin stared at the disappearing subway car, paused for a moment, but did not give up. His mind began to race furiously. Most people perceived Kingpin, due to his immense size, as a brute. But few knew that Kingpin's most powerful weapon was his mind!
"I got it!" The next moment, Kingpin's eyes flashed with fierce intelligence.
He rapidly ran, leaping over several skewed, twisting buildings. If some structures were unavoidable, he simply smashed through them with his fists. In his rage, he ignored the bloodied state of his knuckles from punching metal and concrete. His reckless pursuit was effective. The subway car reappeared!
... Inside the car.
Miles was slumped in a seat, adopting a "Geda-ye Paralysis" posture (extreme exhaustion). He gently pressed his chest, wincing: "Ouch—it's really broken. That hurts! That guy's fists are way too hard!"
Just then. BOOM! The side door of the subway car was violently slammed open, and a figure more massive than a bear charged in.
"Little Spider!" "MOMMY!" Miles's eyes went wide. "How did you catch up?!"
Ignoring his injuries, Miles executed a quick roll, tumbling off the seat. CRASH! Kingpin, like a heavy-armored tank, smashed into the spot Miles had been sitting. The metal seat was twisted into a grotesque shape, and the car wall was deeply dented. This gave Miles an even clearer understanding of Kingpin's power.
But Kingpin wasn't just strong; he was a flexible "fat man." Kingpin suddenly leaned back, performed a backward somersault, and stomped down in the direction Miles had rolled. Miles hadn't expected him to recover so quickly and was kicked again.
The fight immediately entered Kingpin's relentless combo phase. Punch after punch, heavily striking Miles. Miles managed to barely block or dodge some, but a few more connected solidly. Miles was like a small boat tossed in a violent storm, forced to simply endure the onslaught and pray for the wind and waves to pass.
He tried to ignite his Venom Blast ability again, but it was useless. The more he tried, the less the power would respond.
CRUNCH! In one moment, after being hit by two consecutive punches, Miles's momentarily stiff body was seized by Kingpin. Kingpin grabbed his throat with one hand, hoisting him high up until his head nearly hit the car ceiling.
"You will pay for what you did!" Kingpin roared, raising his free hand.
"Fisk, no, what are you doing?" A horrified cry halted Kingpin's movement. His body trembling slightly, he turned his head.
Two shimmering, translucent figures stood at the end of the car. It was his wife and son! Vanessa was holding Richard's hand, covering her mouth with the other. Both looked at the Spider-Man hoisted in Kingpin's hand, and the raised fist, with shock and terror.
Vanessa couldn't fathom that the husband she loved, the successful businessman, would commit such an act, even attempting to murder Spider-Man! Richard couldn't believe the violent brute before him was his father!
In this moment, Kingpin's true monstrous nature was exposed to his closest family, eliciting only panic. Just as the original wife and son of this world had reacted when they saw him fight the first Spider-Man, the wife and son from the parallel universe reacted identically to him holding the second Spider-Man, Miles.
After a moment of shock, Vanessa grabbed her son and bolted out the door connecting the subway cars. "He is not your father, Richard! We're leaving!"
"No!" Kingpin immediately released Miles, letting the boy's body slump onto the devastated car floor. He rushed to the connecting doorway, bracing his hands against the frame, shouting: "No! Vanessa! Richard! Come back!"
"I don't think they're coming back," a voice stated. Peter (Earth-616) landed on the roof of the subway car. He looked at Kingpin mockingly: "Why didn't you chase them just now? Was the doorway too narrow for you to squeeze through?" The connecting door between the subway cars was about 1.5 meters wide. Kingpin's enormous, muscular frame was easily two meters wide when facing it straight on, making it impossible to fit. Peter's comment was accurate.
"Heh! So, there was one more insolent rat left behind?" Kingpin's eyes were bloodshot, like a raging beast. He glared at Peter: "Are you ready to die here?"
"Die here? No, no, no," Peter shook his head. "I remember a line from one of my favorite shows. What do we say to death?" Kingpin glared, not bothering to reply. Peter continued, answering his own question: "Not today!"
The next moment, both men attacked simultaneously. Peter gripped the top edge of the car, his body swinging like a pendulum in a 270-degree arc, descending toward Kingpin like a battle-axe. Kingpin clenched his fist and struck.
BOOM! Fist and foot collided, creating a massive roar. Peter's body was sent back along the arc, but he stabilized himself after a 90-degree swing and released his hands, landing on the car floor. Kingpin staggered back several steps, his face pale with shock.
The difference in power was immediately apparent! Though Kingpin was massive, he was, ultimately, a regular human. Without super-gene enhancements or high-tech armor, his combat power was limited. Especially now that Peter had been supercharged by the particle flow's Temporal Power, Kingpin was completely outclassed.
From then on, despite Kingpin using every ounce of his skill, Peter, with his faster speed and greater strength, defeated him quickly. During the fight, Miles remained sitting on the floor. He was in too much pain to stand up.
It wasn't until Peter knocked Kingpin out cold and effortlessly hoisted his massive body, throwing him at Miles's feet, that the fight was truly over.
"Alright, my job is done. What do you plan to do with him?"
Miles looked at the unconscious Kingpin, falling back into hesitation. From Kingpin's attitude during the fight, he was clearly a wounded, unhinged beast. No attachment, only madness. He wanted to destroy everything!
"Well, since you can't decide right now, let's go destroy the collider first," Peter shrugged, easily lifting Kingpin with one hand. Miles looked at him gratefully and nodded.
