The door opened and a lady walked in. She dressed in a black slim fit trousers and a crop top, with a jacket draped on top of the top. She has her hair packed in a ponytail. She pull off her glasses as she stared at the lady in front of her.
Mei Xiaotong sighed as she walked towards Yumo who is seated in the coffee shop
"Sister Xiaotong" Yumo called after noticing the lady
"Do you wait long?"
"No, I just got here" Leng Yumo replied
"Alright"
"Why do you ask to see me?" Leng Yumo asked as in knowing what Mei Xiaotong was about to say.
"It been three days and I haven't heard from Lu Jingyan. I went to the hospital and realized she had her dad discharged without him recuperating. What is happening?" Mei Xiaotong asked
*As expected* Leng Yumo thought.
After Lu Jingyan left three days ago. She had tried to trace her with the little intelligence network she had but she couldn't find anything. She also went to look for Li Zeyan and Leng Shiyan but non didn't reply her under the pretext of Leng Xuanmo saying no one is to find Lu Jingyan. She was left with no other choice but to keep trying before Mei Xiaotong asked her to meet
"Yumo. Is everything okay?" Mei Xiaotong asked. Yumo thought for some minutes and decided to tell Mei Xiaotong everything.
Color drained from her face as she looked at Leng Yumo in disbelief. She couldn't believe the one who made you fall of the horse was the one who lend you a hand to get up with.
"So. Jingyan already left and no one knows where she went to?" Mei Xiaotong asked
"True. I tried looking for her but to no avail" Leng Yumo said feeling deep regret for what she did.
Mei Xiaotong didn't say anything just picked her bag and left the coffee shop. She needed answers and she must get the answer. Even if that means her death
The sport car stopped on front of the Leng' conglomerate as she descended from the car and walked into the company
"Hello. I m here for Leng Xuanmo" she said
"I am sorry. But you can't meet the president unless you have an appointment" the receptionist said
"I know. But it's really a matter of life and death" she said
"I am sorry. But you need an appointment to meet president Leng" the receptionist replied again. Feeling down she saw someone walked into the company and she smiled
"Excuse me" Mei Xiaotong said as she approached Leng Shiyan
"How can I help you?" Leng Shiyan asked after he finished checking her out
"I am a friend of Lu Jingyan, Mei Xiaotong. I am here to meet Leng Xuanmo" Mei Xiaotong said
"Lu Jingyan's friend?" He asked again
"True"
"I am sorry. But you can't meet Leng Xuanmo" Shiyan replied
"Why is that?"
"Because it is the protocol. Without an appointment letter you can't meet he president" Leng Shiyan said as he was about to walk away
"Baby. Why won't you show me around the company?" Mei Xiaotong said making Leng Shiyan stop in his track

Leng Shiyan wondered how Lu Jingyan who is calm and refined keep a she devil as a friend
"I am going to three. The choice is yours" Mei Xiaotong said as she began her countdown
"Alright" Leng Shiyan said looking at her. Mei Xiaotong smiled victoriously like she has
"You can start embarrassing me now" Leng Shiyan said as he turn around and leave
