The room grew tense with no sound. The only source of sounds coming from the room was the ticking of the clock and the blazing of the fire.

The knock on the door broke the tension in the room. Li Zeyan walked towards the door and opened it
"Lady boss" he greeted
"Lady boss? Your wife?" Leng Shiyan asked as he was intrigued to see her face
"Is there a problem?" Li Zeyan asked
"No. I noticed that Leng Xuanmo has some company. Do I decided to make some snacks for them" Lu Jingyan said
"Hope I am not Interfering?" Sje asked
"Not at all. Let me ask the boss if you should proceed" Li Zeyan said
"Alright" Lu Jingyan said as Li Zeyan walked back in
"What is the problem?" Leng Xuanmo asked
"Lady boss bought some snacks to us noticing the you have company" Li Zeyan said
"Alright. Let her in" Leng Xuanmo said as he signalled Leng Shiyan to pack the whole files from the table and he did.
Lu Jingyan pushed in the trolley in full of snacks as her gaze fell onto someone in the room.
Lu Jingyan froze as she saw the person. She can't believe she would see him again after not seeing him for so long and he is here on flesh and blood in front of her. Her lips parted slightly as she wanted to call his name but no sound came out of her mouth
"Hello, sister in law. My name Leng Shiyan. Xuanmo cousin" Leng Shiyan Introduced
"Hello, I am Lu Jingyan" she said as she kept her gaze on the guy in the room still
"Sister in law. Meet Mo Tianyi. Xuanmo's friend" Leng Shiyan Introduced
"Brother Tianyi" Lu Jingyan whispered
"No sister in law. I mean Mo Tianyi" Leng Shiyan said
"Yan Yan" Mo Tianyi called shocking everyone in the room including Xuanmo who's facial expression you couldn't decipher some seconds before
"You know each other?" Leng Shiyan asked
"The Lu family. Is Lu Jingyan family?" Mo Tianyi asked
"True. Lu Jingyan is my wife" Xuanmo said
"Impossible" Mo Tianyi said
"What is the problem?" Xuanmo asked
"The Lu family you said I should work on was Lu Jingyan famy?" Mo Tianyi asked again
"True" Leng Xuanmo replied again
"Impossible" Mo Tianyi said again and he storm out of the room
"Brother Tianyi" Lu Jingyan said as she rushed after him
"What js happening?" Leng Shiyan asked
"Is Lu Jingyan connected to Mo Tianyi" Leng Xuanmo asked Li Zeyan who is already doing his research
"According to my research. Mo Tianyi mother and Lu Jingyan father are brother and sister" Li Zeyan asked
"So? The Lu family is connected to the Mo family?" Leng Shiyan asked as he stared at Leng Xuanmo who didn't have any expressions on.
"What would happen now?" Li Zeyan asked his boss
"Killing spree. He would kill anyone until he found the one who did this to the Lu family" Leng Xuanmo said as the room fell Into silent
"Brother Tianyi" Lu Jingyan called as she grabbed his hands before he entered his car
"Why?" He asked
"Brother Tianyi" she called again as tears streamed down her face
"Why didn't you tell me anything?" He asked. "Why is it that when I needed help you provided it but when you needed it you didn't tell me?" Mo Tianyi asked
"I am sorry" Lu Jingyan said
"I would find whosoever did it. And he would regret ever doing it" he said as he let free from her and leave in his car
"No. I want to ask for help but he forbade it" she whispered underneath her breath
