The morning began too normal for anything good to come of it. Everyone was calm, the air smelled faintly of fresh paper and burnt coffee, which in Lunette usually meant trouble was quietly loading in the background.
By noon, the company's main PR partner sent an urgent email, a product campaign had been released without final approval from the executive office. It wasn't disastrous, but it featured an outdated tagline and some numbers that hadn't been verified yet. If investors noticed, it'd look sloppy.
Emily found Isaac first "We're going to need your immediate review on this, sir. Marketing says the draft went public by mistake."
Isaac's jaw ticked. "Who handled communications?"
"Your department." Emily said, slowly.
"Which part of my department?"
Emily didn't answer, she only tilted her head toward Mina's corner of the floor.
