A name that sounded so innocent, so childish, that it could have been painted in colorful letters on the facade of a nursery school. But inside... There was nothing sweet.
The air smelled of disinfectant, metal, and old blood. The white ceiling lights flickered occasionally, illuminating narrow corridors of steel and reinforced glass.
Behind each door, machines hummed, tubes bubbled with strange liquids, and the shadows of scientists were cast on the walls like faceless specters.
Several men and women in white coats were rushing back and forth, their faces pale and their expressions tense. In their hands, they held tablets displaying erratic graphs and data in red.
Chaos reigned.
Their most advanced test subject... had vanished.
"How the hell did they let a mere child escape?!" roared a voice that made the windows rattle.
