It was supposed to be a normal spring day in India. Sun in the sky. Light breeze. Birds singing. My mom yelling from the kitchen about how I forgot to bring milk again.
Same old Act And My Ass Will Be Wiped.
I walked out of my house that morning like it was any other. Old place. Cracked walls. Wooden windows that hadn't closed properly since the 90s. Still, I loved it. It had soul.
I was wearing my black Japanese tracksuit–the one with the kanji on the back that looks cool but probably says "discount noodles" or something. My hair was still a mess, and I didn't care. I was just heading to the market. Grab some snacks. Kill time.
Nothing strange at all.
Until I reached the gate.
My hand touched the iron latch same gate I'd passed through a thousand times and everything… stopped.
Then it hit me.
A flash in my head like lightning:
Me. Dying.
Blood everywhere. My stomach wide open, like someone had carved into me with a blade. I could feel the pain. I could feel the ground beneath me. I saw a dark figure standing over me, faceless, emotionless.
I didn't even scream.
I just stood there, frozen, my fingers still on the gate.
"What the hell was that?" I whispered Quietly, barely able to breathe.
It felt too real to be a dream.
But I was still me. Still standing. Still breathing. So I forced myself to step forward. Through the gate.
The moment I crossed it–everything went blank.
Not darkness. Not light.
Just nothing.

When I opened my eyes again, I was lying flat on my back in the middle of a massive green field.
No buildings. No people. No familiar sounds.
Just grass for miles and miles. And an empty, colorless sky above.
I sat up slowly. My head was pounding. My clothes—torn, like I'd been attacked. My jacket was hanging by threads. My phone was gone. My sense of time? Shattered.
"Where the f*** am I…?"
There was no answer. Not even an echo.
Then I saw it.
Far in the distance–a city.
Tall spires. Glowing lights. Floating structures. Something out of a video game. Something that didn't belong on Earth.
That's when the thought hit me.
No. Not a thought–a revelation.
My eyes went wide. I stood up fast, almost falling over.
"Wait… wait… wait… is this…?"
I spun around, arms out like a madman, yelling at the heavens.
"I GOT TRANSPORTED TO A FANTASY WORLD!!!"
No applause. No goddess. No cheat powers. Just me, standing there like an idiot.
No glowing runes, no destiny speeches. Not even a tutorial popup.
I waited. Nothing happened. I raised my hand, just in case the sky wanted to beam me with wisdom. Nope. Not even a mosquito cared.
So this was it? Transported to another world… with all the flair of being kicked out of a bus.
Still–I kept going. Full weeb-mode activated.
I struck a pose, pointed toward the city like a budget anime protagonist and shouted with all the pride of a man who's lost his mind:
"I am Akai Ren! Former student! And newly reborn pervert hero of another world!"
I took a deep breath. Grinned like a lunatic.
"And I've got one goal in this magical new life"
I spread my arms dramatically.
"TO FIND ALL THE CATGIRLS AND BUFF WARRIOR WOMEN AND LET THEM CRUSH ME WITH THEIR THIGHS!!"
***
The silence was long. The bird flew away. Probably disgusted.
I lowered my arms. Cough. "Too much?" I muttered.
Still, it felt good to say it. Even if no one was listening. Even if I was probably going to DIE OUT HERE AGAIN .
But if I had to go down in another world…
Might as well die chasing catgirls.
