In the centre of Royal capital, stood the majestic Palace of Aegis Empire, spread in more than three kilometre area.
Emperor's throne hall was inside one of central buildings, near it was Empress's residence.
Crown prince and Leon had there own separate mansions.

Inside Leon's mansion,
"I slapped him again!" The brown haired maid said, as she looked at her palm.
Two maids were sitting in the beautiful garden located in front of mansion.
"It's still better than how the previous caretaker used to treat him." similar looking maid consoled the first one.

Slightly cool wind flowed in the garden making flowers sway with it.
"Lia, it's going to be crown prince's coming-of-age soon, will second prince attend?"

"Mia, i don't think he will attend! Afterall, he avoids attending any official event."

Everyone stopped whatever they were doing and looked at the entrance, including Leon.
Soon, a young boy with blonde hair and golden eyes entered the hall.

Several young girl's started murmuring, while admiring him.
"Hmmph! Materialistic people!" Leon said as he turned his face away from crown prince and once again started eating cakes and chocolates.
Ceremony continued, Emperor and Empress congratulated Adrian along with other nobles.
Leon walked from one corner of hall to another looking at people head.
His search finally ended, when he looked at a young looking man in black cloak, with a hood covering his head.
In a world full of magic, it was not strange that some magician's wore their cloaks even while attending public events, so he was not a suspicious guy in anyone's eyes.

"Let's go!" After comfortably sitting at his seat, Alk ordered to his driver.
Carriage started to move away from palace with moderate speed.
Alk removed the hood from his head, revealing the wrinkled face of a old man with white hairs. He looked completely different from how he looked inside the palace hall.
Alk touched his wrinkled face with his left hand ,
"Sigh. If i had known that it would cost so much of my lifespan to curse an unborn baby, still in her mother's womb, i wouldn't have accepted that request."
Alk closed his eyes to rest for a while till he reaches his destination...

A child's voice sounded near Alk's right ear from behind, shocking him so much that he nearly got a heart attack.
