"Thanks for the ride." I said less enthusiasticly to Jin, avoiding his eyes when he insisted on dropping me off here.
I saw it in his eyes, he didn't want to talk about it, but he also wanted to ask. This was why I didn't want him taking me to the hospital or anything.
Like I said, I was fine. Even the doctor said all I needed was rest and food. A staycation.
"If you need a ride anytime. Just call me. Okay?"
I nodded, even though I knew I wasn't going to call him ever. My body had been stiff since the ride and stepping down now, it looked awkward.
"Take care of yourself," Jin said from his Mercedes Benz again before the driver drove off.
I waved at the retreating car watching it drive till it was out of sight. Sighing, I turned back towards the gate. The security pointed a flashlight on face, which was unnecessary because the night lights were on.
"It's Stephanie."
"Oh. Stephanie?" He brought down the flashlight. "Why are you coming back this late?"
