The screen darkened as countless black deathly auras rose, forming skeletal figures. Billions of skulls emerged, transforming the fiery world into a hellish necropolis. Viewers' throats, already parched, couldn't swallow. Weaker spectators screamed, while even Arrancars, hardened by slaughter, were speechless.
"This old man's a demon!"
"As the Gotei's leader, he's reaped billions of souls? Terrifying!"
"You can't judge a man by his kindly face!"
Yamamoto's initial benevolence had masked his brutality. With a wave of his blade, the skeletal horde surged toward Yhwach like a black tide. "These billions of souls, killed by Zanka no Tachi's scorching tip, are reborn as my allies to slay my enemies!"
Surrounded, Yhwach's aura crumbled, his eyes betraying primal fear. "Still don't understand? These souls are your past victims, revived to kill you!" Yamamoto declared.
Yhwach roared, slashing at the skeletons, but their numbers overwhelmed him. Among them, he saw familiar faces: "Asgedris… Elgra… Hubert!" His loyal Quincies from a thousand years ago. His psyche shattered.
"Good. You're finally despairing," Yamamoto said, satisfied. But Yhwach's next words shifted the mood: "Yanahara Kinroku… Shijima Chiwu… Jikuninotsume…" He laughed maniacally. "Yamamoto, you said all these souls died by Zanka no Tachi. So why are the original Gotei 13 captains among them?!"
The revelation rocked the Soul Society. "What?! The Head Captain killed his own men?!" The Gotei reeled, unable to believe their leader's past atrocities.
