Chapter 32 - The Pralay Kund Prophecy

The sky had turned an eerie shade of violet as the trio—Devsena, Avantika, and Arjuna—approached the hidden valley that housed Pralay Kund. Legends said the Kund was not water, not fire, but something far more ancient—Tatva before Tatva existed.

The ground trembled with every step they took, like the very earth was resisting their presence.

Suddenly, the sigils on Avantika and Devsena's palms began to burn and shimmer simultaneously—not in pain, but in synchrony. A soft humming rose from the sigils, and the kund, hidden behind layers of enchanted mist, revealed itself.

It was massive, a spiraling whirlpool of glowing silver and crimson, constantly shifting in elemental rhythm.

"Is this… calling us?" Avantika whispered, her voice trembling.

Arjuna stepped forward but was stopped by an invisible barrier. A voice rang through the valley—not male, not female, but both and neither.

"Only the Dvandva can enter. Only they can decide the fate of balance."

The twins exchanged a glance. For the first time, there was no hatred, no conflict, just fear… and faith.

They stepped forward together.

The whirlpool surged, swallowing them in light. And then—visions exploded in their minds.

They saw the past—Vrinda sealing an ancient beast using her own elemental powers, sacrificing her memories.

They saw the present—a traitor amongst the elemental councils, manipulating balance.

And then… they saw the future—a war so great that fire and water would no longer be enemies, but the only hope for survival.

And in the center of it all… stood a figure cloaked in void energy.

Not Vrinda.

Not Samridhi.

Not even Arjuna.

But someone unknown. Watching. Waiting.

Avantika screamed. Devsena fell to her knees. The prophecy wasn't about victory…

It was about a trial.

And one sister might not survive it.
