Chapter 21 - Rise of the Crimson Flame

"Blood remembers what the mind forgets."

The Kingdom of Vyagrah — Midnight

Thunder split the skies as the hidden chamber beneath Samridhi's palace burst open.

From a glowing circle of ancient inscriptions, a figure stepped out — cloaked in red, eyes burning with embered rage. His skin bore cracks of fire, veins glowing like molten lava.

His name: Agniraaj.

"The Unburnt King."

A warrior long sealed by Vrinda herself, when he tried to harness both elemental powers to crown himself as a god.

He was once a royal, a forgotten prince… and Samridhi's husband.

"Let the Dvandva bleed," Agniraaj murmured, stepping onto sacred soil once again. "And I shall reign eternal."

Back in the ruins of the Waterfall Temple

Devsena sat beside Avantika, their hands barely touching, but no longer wielding weapons.

"I don't want to fight you," Avantika said softly.

Devsena's voice broke. "Then don't leave me again…"

But before either could speak further, the temple began to shake violently. Flames burst through the ground, water steamed and vanished.

A crimson symbol appeared beneath them — Agniraaj's sigil.

A voice echoed around them:

"Sisters. Daughters of Tatva. Your blood shall be my bridge."

Far away – Arjuna & Vrinda's Journal

Arjuna, holding the diary close, read the last lines Vrinda ever wrote:

"If Agniraaj rises… the only hope lies in reuniting the Five Elements. The twins are two… but they are not alone."

Five?

Wind. Earth. Water. Fire.

What is the fifth?

His eyes widened.

"Soul."

Meanwhile… in the Forbidden Library of Samridhi

Samridhi stared into her scrying mirror, a single tear rolling down.

"I never wanted this," she whispered.

But it was too late. The war had begun.
