A news report opens, as the logo of WHIH News moves. As Christine Everhart, a reporter sits together with Will Adams. Christine says "The news from the Advengers statement in the UN continue to flow over the world, with a Ally Miller linked to a... otherworldly anomoly." Will nods "Yes, as we can see clearly in there adress, a... new element in the world has been revialed by them. One i am frankly... unsure of its place." It cuts to a clip of Natasha romonaof on stage. The director of the query asks directly "Can you define your relationship with the entity known as Mr. Fox, and his nature." Natasha explains "The nature is not fully understood, but it is known Mr. Fox is the ruler of a separate dimension parallel to our own, known as the Fox Realm. He has contacted us a few times, and offers help thru a human he has given power, a enchained named Ally Miller who helped in our efforts several times, and is currently considered a member of the Avengers. Mr. Fox's humanitarian aid was entirely his own decision, and we did not know he was coming to help, or his capacities. While the appearance of Mr. Fox, and Ally Millers powers are rather... novel. All scientific efforts say they are within scientific capacity, while being immensely novel." As it cuts back to the reporting room.
Everhart says "As... you can see. There extrodinary reports continue to throw curveballs at world order. The nature of this... Mr. Fox, and his interventions are vastly unsettling, with many military reports saying Ally Miller, and Mr. Foxes powers show... capacties greater then any advenger seen to date, even thor prehaps outmatched with the raw oddites present." Images float by on the screen of cartoonish projections, black siloweates on concreate with cartoonish purple glows for eyes, lifting debree in the battle agenst Ultron. Adams replies "However, given what has been show... it is easy to see... how... useful, and truely humanitarian this sovergnes aid has been. While the nature of the phonomona is unkown, much like Thor, and asgard, we must not assume harm until the evedence is present." Everhart replies "Witch brings me to my next point... in the exposure of Hydra, and the destruction that rained in Washington, a helecarrier was reported disapearing into... this." A clip plays, of a hand-held camra watchinf from afar the 3 hellicarries flying up, as one sparks with static... light bends around it, as it colapses into a glowing point of static, that slowly falls from the sky, while the other hellicarries fire upon each other. "As you can see... despite demands for explination, Captain Rogers, and others have still refused explination of the static incident, and given... apperance simularites in the Sokovian Intervention-" A image of static lightling from a TV, as Mr. Fox stands n screen. "There is great reason to suspect a connection."
Adams replies "I agree, but given these hellicarriers, and Project Insites goals. The fact remains that the intervention saved lives. Many damages and deaths came from the hellicarriers falling, and one less is one less to hit civilians. So while i agree there is much unkown, the reality remains, this... Mr. Fox, and his representitive, Ally Miller, whatever they may be, and reguardless of there... well..." He choaks on his words for a second "Cartoonish apperance... they... seem to be a ally of the advengers." Christine replies "Well... i would not enjoy being saved if it came in the form of shadowy fox figures from TVs, while a cartoon sung... a hate filled, rock song towards the enemy. Especally, when the frequency connected with Mr. Fox's broadcast was detected to have more energy than nuclear bombs carried in it." Adams says "We can't know for sure, but whatever the oddity... we can't deny a connection with the advengers, and they saved us countless times, and are clearly monitoring this fox realm. What i am more unsure of, and wish to know is the nature of this realm. As very little is know. What does it do? Where does it intersect with earth? Why did Mr. Fox act, and why was Ally Miller chosen as his actor... it can not be... simple. We can clearly see given her... changes." As two images side by side are shown, one with a brown haired, blue eyed young woman, another with static slits for eyes, like a animal, glowing, with white hair, and two animal fox ears on her head.
Everhart soon replies saying "Indeed, with a background as a low-level SHIELD agent, promoted suddenly for 1 year, and 3 months as a top-level agent, until Fury's death. After that, she got put on the wanted list together with Steve rogers, and several other agents of such caliber. Its clear to see... anomalies. After Project Insite, and the leak, and collapse of SHIELD, she was removed from the wanted list, and while some reports say she was clearly human at this point... all pictures show sunglasses on her, never one without for over a year." Adams replies "We should not dig so deep into her personal life however. As i am sure more will become known as time goes on. The reality is, we also got some informants telling us she was involved in a number of hydra raids by the advengers in the last few months, showing a heroic streak, and a growing connection with the advengers. As far as i'm conncerned, she, and Mr. Fox are here to help. In what form that will take? I am unsure."
Elsewhere, its nearing midnight, as a young 12 year old sits in front of the TV. Waiting. As it turns on suddenly, static flouding over it. Before... the world goes quite beyond the TV. As it resolves into a old timey title card "Mr. Fox presents: The Fox Realm!" As the title card fades. As Mr. Fox sits in the animated landscape past the TV, relaxing, as a humanoid fox with black detailed fur, and human brown eyes. As he looks at the girl, and smiles. In the bright, disney-style, cartoon forest. "Hello Jessica! Nice to see you once more. How was your day?" She smiles unsure, and says "Its been... ok. My new foster mom... well... uh...." She looks unsure, as Mr. Fox frowns, moves to lissen in. She says "She really hates you, and the advengers. I asked her about you, as it came up over the news. I am... I am so glad you are helping pepole! Its lovely! But... she yelled at me."
He frowns "Sorry to hear that... but you must remember... some are blind to truths others see." She nods, but asks "Why don't you tell pepole about this then? Surely the big goverments will like you then?" His smile is strained. "Yeah... i hate to say this... but... those goverments because they are so... big... you see... they have a hard time thinking. A hard time doing. Because so many in them... are blind, keeping back the ones not. You don't need to understand now, and... i am simplfying... but that is how it is." She frowns "Ok... But... did you meet Tony Stark? Or... or Captain America! They must be amazing pepole!" He smiles "Yes i did. Tony, Captain, Thor... all of them... you must remember are just like you, me, or your mom. Blindness can creep in at any time." She is quite, as she absorbs the knowledge, nodding. "Now... i will let you pick the topic of todays lessen. What do you feel like learning today?" The kid smiles "More math! I did what you recomended! I managed to solve that poly-nomial!" As she shows a paper nearby her proud. He smiles with warmth. As he begins to teach in that bubble of frozen time with a 12 year old, who should not be doing polynomials yet. As the realm transforms into a more edutainment environment, where math equations float in the air, and move with life.
As the session ends, she smiles at Mr. Fox, as he says "Well... now that its time for me to go. Let me remind you... you can't tell anyone about this. Ok... there is still risks to my lessons, and magic ok. Others could detect it, they know about me, and i help pepole. Bad guys could learn about my lessons, and make me look like the bad guy. So... make sure to do as we alwase say..." She smiles, and nods slowly "Not all blindness is bad, and some is to protect." SHe says, noding along as if she heard it for the 30th time. "I promous. Thanks... before... you go Mr. Fox... can i ask?" He nods "How is my dad... you said... you took him in there to heal?" His expression shifts to empathy "He is making progress... but... you know how bad your dad was. His blindness will take time to heal... prehaps one day he can meet you here on these little broadcasts, and teach you." She smiles slowly "I would like that." He smiles "I assure you... one day you will see him once more... but... i should warn you... he will be a new version of himself. You need to not expect anything else. Because change... is the one thing that must alwase occur, and going... from what he was before, to something better... will make him new." She nods. As he smiles, with deep empathy "I wish you luck Jessica... I truely do... love who you are. I can't wait to see what you become, but make sure to build yourself well." The TV turns slowly to static, as then... the quite disapears, as finally, after 58 minutes, the clock passes from 12:00 to 12:01.
