"Lily, how did you get here?"
Asher looked at Artoria as she entered the room, his gaze lingering on her for a moment before he asked naturally. Artoria's eyes fell on Guinevere's hands. The sleeping princess was currently holding one of Asher's arms, seemingly using him as a pillow.
"I apologize. I shouldn't have disturbed you now, after all." Artoria's tone was calm. Although she said so, she didn't leave the room, but sat on a chair by the bed.
"She probably woke up too early today and seemed very sleepy just now, so I let her rest first." Perhaps seeing the puzzlement and confusion in Artoria's eyes, Asher explained in a low voice.
"You don't need to explain such things, it has nothing to do with me." Artoria's tone was calm. After a moment, she continued to ask, "Why is she sleeping here?" Asher gave a rough explanation. "That's how it is. She said she came to temporarily replace you and hoped to stay in this room even when resting, so she just slept here, face down."
Artoria's previously tense expression finally softened a bit, and she muttered to herself, "So that's how it is."
I thought even Princess Guinevere was like Royal Sister...
But then again, Royal Sister and Master Scathach only fell for Ash after spending a long time with him, but Guinevere is different. Though it's not nice to say this about Ash, he doesn't really have any qualities that would attract Princess Guinevere, does he?
"You didn't secretly do anything, did you?" Artoria suddenly asked.
Asher nearly fell over. He looked up and said helplessly, "Lily, what kind of person do you take me for? I'm an upright person, how could I take advantage of someone in need?"
"Upright?" Artoria repeated, a hint of meaning in her tone.
"Exactly, upright." Asher nodded again. "I want to be a noble person, a pure person, a moral person, a person free from low-level interests, a person beneficial to the people."
Artoria remained silent, just looking at Asher quietly.
Asher used his free little finger to scratch his forehead.
Lily's sudden silence at this moment was quite awkward.
The two sat quietly in the room. Outside, the pattering of rain could be heard, accompanied by a booming thunderclap, together playing a gloomy day's marching song.
"Do you want water?" Perhaps the silence made Asher a little uncomfortable. He asked in a low voice. Artoria nodded gently.
"There's water over there, just pour it yourself. I can't move right now," Asher said, pointing to his arm. Artoria silently stood up and walked to the side to pour a glass of water. Her short skirt fluttered, her legs were long and slender, stunningly beautiful. She looked back at Asher.
Asher was staring blankly at the wall in front of him.
"..." Artoria unconsciously frowned slightly, then looked down at her attire, confirming that she hadn't changed anything. A hint of confusion appeared in her eyes. Why is he completely unresponsive? Is it because it's not quite right? Or is it because he's into older women?
Artoria returned to her seat, sitting down with her legs together. The rounded thighs formed between her white stockings and skirt hem were particularly eye-catching.
"It's a bit cold today," she whispered, biting her lip slightly, her long eyelashes constantly fluttering. Her fingers nervously caressed the rim of the cup, then she continued: "But wearing socks outside makes them easily wet."
"Mm, that's true. It's best to stay in the palace on a rainy day like this," Asher nodded gently. Artoria took a shallow breath, cautiously peeking at Asher through the gaps in her soft bangs. He was completely unresponsive, like a complete idiot, just leaning against the headboard, staring straight ahead, seemingly deep in thought.
"Lily." Asher suddenly turned to look at Artoria.
"Wha- what?!" Artoria was observing Asher, seemingly not expecting him to suddenly call her name. For a moment, she didn't react.
"Can you get my jacket for me?" Asher pointed to the jacket not far from the bed.
Artoria silently walked to the bedside, picked up the jacket, and handed it to Asher.
"It's not for me. When you just said it was cold, I remembered that it's a bit chilly today. Please put the jacket on Princess Guinevere. It wouldn't be good if she caught a cold," Asher said. Artoria quietly draped the jacket over Guinevere's shoulders, then looked up and asked blandly, "Is there anything else you need help with?" Her expression had completely calmed down, and the highlights in her pupils were much less than usual, perhaps giving up or something.
"Nothing else," Asher shook his head.
"Then I'll go now," Artoria said, turning to leave the room.
"You just got here, and you're leaving already?" Asher asked, puzzled.
"Mm, it's not good to disturb you two." Artoria glanced at Asher one last time and left the room.
With a faint closing sound, Asher looked at the closed door, somewhat puzzled. Lily's behavior today was truly strange, completely unlike her usual self. Was it really because she felt guilty about putting medicine in the fish soup last night? It seems I need to find some time to talk to her today... Just as Asher thought of this, Guinevere, who was lying face down at the head of the bed, let out a soft "Mm." Just hearing such a bewildered and lazy sound made one's bones tingle.
"Are you awake?" Asher asked.
"Mm..." Guinevere looked up, opening a pair of clear eyes.
"Did I just hear Lily's voice?" How strange, she wakes up so quickly after sleeping? Asher's gaze lingered on Guinevere's clear eyes for a moment, then he nodded gently. "Mm, she was just here."
Perhaps sensing the meaning behind Asher's puzzled gaze, Guinevere said, "Actually, I was already half awake when Lily came in, just still a bit groggy."
"So that's it, I sometimes feel that way too," Asher said, suddenly enlightened. He had also experienced times when he felt awake while sleeping, able to hear outside sounds but unable to get up.
"I think I half-opened my eyes while I was still groggy, and I saw Lily's outfit and wondered... is that really Lily?" Guinevere said with a smile.
"Outfit?" Asher was confused.
"Arthur, you're not going to say you didn't notice such a stunning outfit, are you?" Guinevere's tone was gentle.
"Oh, you mean that," Asher said with a sudden realization. "I noticed it long ago." He had noticed it the moment Artoria entered the room; in fact, it would have been hard not to notice. After all, she was dressed so cutely; to say he hadn't noticed would be like being blind.
"But you don't seem to have mentioned her outfit," she said, toying with a strand of hair with her index finger.
"If I said something, Lily might get shy or upset, or something. Don't look at her like that, she's still very easily embarrassed," Asher said. "So I didn't think it was necessary."
"Not necessary?"
"Mm, Lily is already very cute. I don't think there's any need to praise her more."
"I see," Guinevere nodded gently, placing the jacket on the bedside table. "Thank you, Arthur," she said with a smile.
"It's very warm." Asher shook his head, indicating it was nothing. He looked up at the window, raindrops hitting the glass, a continuous pattering sound.
"This rain doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon,"
Guinevere said, following Asher's gaze out the window.
"Indeed," Asher replied.

Scathach sat in front of the courtyard, silently gazing at the rainy scenery outside. Because there was no training today, she was wearing a light, reddish-purple dress. Two thin straps rested gently on her smooth, fragrant shoulders, and her red eyes reflected the rainy curtain outside. She suddenly felt as if someone was walking towards her, so she looked back.
"Lily? Why are you back so soon?" When Artoria approached, Scathach asked. "Or did my disciple ask you to do something?" Artoria just shook her head silently, but she still didn't speak. Scathach looked at the girl with puzzled eyes. Did something happen?
Speaking of which, Lily's outfit today really is a refreshing sight.
"That outfit suits you very well," Scathach said.
"Th-thank you..." Artoria was visibly embarrassed, her eyelids slightly lowered.
"If there's nothing else, I'll go now. I need to change."
"Why?" Scathach asked, puzzled. "Did my disciple say something bad? If so, he needs a lesson. He's clearly very cute"
"It's not his problem! I just feel a bit strange; it's very uncomfortable," Artoria interrupted Scathach.
"Sometimes you need to muster the courage to try new things," Scathach said. "I don't think you need to change your clothes. It's very cute."
"Cute, huh..." Artoria muttered softly to herself. Scathach looked at Artoria with a knowing glance and chuckled softly. "Yes, very cute." "Even my disciple would probably be attracted to you. You can observe his eyes closely.
Although that child is timid, he often sneaks glances. If you observe carefully, you might find some interesting reactions."
Artoria lowered her head, stroking her smooth golden hair. She recalled that Royal Sister had also said similar things just now, but when she entered the room, Asher only glanced at her a few times and quickly averted his gaze, as if he found it quite distasteful. This made her can't help but think, "As expected, these clothes don't suit me." Scathach watched Artoria's movements and continued to play the role of a sympathetic older sister, saying with a smile, "I told you, that child is a bit reserved. Even if he's tempted, he won't show it on his face. If you don't believe me, you can try testing him a few more times."
Testing him...? Artoria still had her head down, seemingly deep in thought. After a moment, she finally looked up. "Thank you." After speaking, Artoria turned and walked back down the corridor she had just come from. Scathach silently watched her. After the girl left, she muttered thoughtfully to herself, "Speaking of which, what was I thinking, guiding her to go find my disciple?" Then, she shook her head helplessly. This was probably a Shishou's habit, always subconsciously guiding lost children.

"Ash."
Artoria pushed open the door, standing at the doorway, expressionless, looking at Asher inside the room and Guinevere, who was chatting and laughing with Asher.
"Lily, is there something suddenly? Or are you done with your matters?" Guinevere turned to look at Artoria and asked.
"Mm, you worked hard this morning." After Artoria answered, her gaze fell on Asher's face. Her eyes were calm, yet they seemed to contain a hint of exasperation, as if she was ashamed of her "hasty retreat" just now.
But paired with that cute little face, even her exasperation seemed incredibly adorable.
"What's wrong?" Asher asked, puzzled.
"Can you come to the training ground with me for a spar?" Artoria asked.
"Now?" Asher glanced at the rain outside. The rain wasn't heavy now, but after one sparring session, their clothes would probably be soaked. Artoria remained silent, just looking at Asher quietly.
"Alright." Asher pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement. Lily seemed to be in a bad mood, and if this could cheer her up, it was acceptable. Besides, his mental state had mostly recovered now, so even if they sparred, he wouldn't be utterly defeated again.
"Should I come with you two?" Guinevere stood up and said.
"It's still raining. You should stay here. It wouldn't be good if you caught a cold. Your constitution isn't very good, is it?" Asher shook his head, refusing. Guinevere's eyes flickered, and she finally sighed softly. "Alright, then be careful, both of you." Asher nodded and followed Artoria towards the training ground.
The atmosphere feels a bit off... Asher looked at the figure in front of him. For some reason, he felt a strong sense of pressure starting just now, but he didn't know where it was coming from. In this confusion, Asher followed Artoria into the training ground. Raindrops hit Asher's face. He held his weapon and looked at Artoria, saying, "Come on, Lily." Artoria just silently watched Asher's eyes, seemingly observing his gaze. But because of the rain curtain, she couldn't see very clearly and couldn't discern the "interesting reactions" that Scathach and Morgan mentioned. She gripped the Vanguard Lance tightly and stepped forward.

"That should be enough, right?" Asher gasped, quickly shaking the water droplets from his forehead.
Artoria silently watched Asher. His soft hair was slightly disheveled now, like a drowned rat. His bangs, dampened by the raindrops, vaguely seemed to block his dark eyes. From those eyes, she saw no impatience or similar emotions. But she also saw no other emotions, such as the dazed look he sometimes had when looking at Scathach or Morgan. It hadn't appeared at all. As expected, he's into older women... Artoria thought.
"Lily?" Seeing the girl hadn't responded after a long pause, Asher tried calling out again.
"Mm." Artoria snapped out of her thoughts and nodded gently.
"Then let's go back," Asher said. "We still need to change clothes." Although the rain had lessened when they came out, being in the training ground for so long, even light rain would soak their clothes mostly through.
"No reaction at all, as expected..." Artoria muttered to herself.
"What?" Asher heard her muttering and turned to ask. Lily seems a bit strange today.
"Nothing," Artoria shook her head. "Before we go back, I want to go somewhere first."
"I'll come with you?" Asher understood the meaning in her words. Artoria made no sound, just walked past Asher and headed towards the palace. Lily is really a bit strange today... Asher looked at Artoria's back and quickly followed her. Seeing her unusual behavior today, he couldn't just leave it alone.
They unknowingly arrived at a strange room. The reason it was strange was that it was likely one of Morgan's secret rooms. This was because they had walked through a seemingly impassable wall that was actually directly accessible, then opened a switch, walked up several flights of stairs, and finally reached this room.
Moreover, there were about a dozen Fae Knights standing silently on either side of the entrance.
"This is one of Royal Sister's changing rooms, but she rarely comes here." Perhaps noticing the confusion in Asher's eyes, Artoria explained. So Sister Morgan has a changing room like this? Asher looked around, then asked,
"Then why are we here? Do you have clothes in this room?" Artoria nodded silently, saying nothing.
"Then I'll wait for you at the door." Asher turned his back to Artoria and glanced left and right. I just feel like the atmosphere is a bit off... He already had a bit of a psychological shadow regarding such nearly enclosed environments.
Artoria looked at Asher, who had his back to her, and gently bit her lower lip, grasping the corner of Asher's clothes. Feeling his gaze turn towards her, she lowered her eyelids and said, "You come in first."
After speaking, without giving Asher a chance to reply, she opened the door and pulled Asher into the room. It had to be said that, true to her Red Dragon body, even in her youthful teenage years, her strength was quite considerable. Soon, Asher only heard a "bang," and when he looked up, he saw Artoria silently closing the door.
Asher subconsciously glanced at his surroundings, thinking, Why does this scene feel a little familiar? Rainy day, an inaccessible place, a closed room, and wet boys and girls... But Asher didn't have much energy to think about these things. His gaze quickly fixated completely on Artoria.
Because she had just been drenched in the rain, her light dress was completely wet, the fabric clinging to her tender skin. Artoria walked to a nearby wardrobe, took out a set of clothes, then sat on the long bench, her thumb pressing against her white stockings. The soaked white stockings clung to her slender legs in a translucent beauty, as if a gentle press on her thigh would cause water droplets to seep from the stockings.
Asher's gaze couldn't help but fall on her thighs. Artoria easily noticed Asher's gaze. Recalling Scathach's words, she looked up. Asher coughed dryly, his gaze darting to the nearby wall, pretending to look at the scenery.
Artoria lowered her head, about to continue removing the white stockings from her legs, but at this moment, she felt the gaze from the side sneaking a peek again.
Artoria looked up again, just in time to see Asher turning his head away, his eyes looking slightly flustered, almost whistling. Artoria stared intently at Asher. After a short silence, she suddenly chuckled softly.
So Royal Sister and Shishou were telling the truth.
It really was an interesting reaction. This was another side of Asher she had never seen before.
"Help me take off my stockings," she suddenly said, gazing at Asher's profile.
Asher: "???" Although he was surprised, his gaze subconsciously fell on those tender white legs again, and he quietly swallowed.
My ears aren't playing tricks on me, are they?
