Synopsis
Noah was a talented UX Developer, but when the app he had been developing for years was about to be released, he had a heart attack! What he didn't expect was that instead of dying, he would receive an invitation from a ROB to continue using his talent to develop a new internet, a Multiversal Internet! For every hour people spend on the internet, Noah receives Points that can be exchanged for skills and powers from various worlds. Starting with the world of fairy tales, Noah showed princesses, witches, and ordinary people that life could be much more interesting with the internet! Does the Evil Queen from Snow White love her appearance? How about becoming an influencer and receiving the attention of thousands of people? Does Ariel want to see the human world? No need to trade your voice for it, just watch a LiveStream on YouTube! Does Elsa want to learn how to control ice magic? Don't worry, the internet sells magic guides! Is Fiona still trapped in the tower? Buy a How to Train Your Dragon guide and become a Dragon Rider! What Noah thought was the end of a story actually became a gateway to the greatest work of his life! ----- Author's Note: After reading Game Maker System and not receiving any chapters for so long, I decided to give it a try and write my own version of it with other ideas from other stories I've read. I hope the original author isn't offended (especially since he was also inspired by another story) and that readers enjoy it! :) This is my original story, NOT a translation or made by AI.

Chapter 1 - 01 - Internet!

Noah always dreamed of being a big name in the technology industry, someone like Steve Jobs who innovated with the iPhone, or Hideo Kojima who innovated in the creation of games, or Mark Zuckerberg, who although not the great inventor of Facebook, was the UX Developer who made it possible and as viral as it was.

In order to follow this dream, Noah dedicated himself to studying why these great projects he was so inspired by were so successful.

Starting out as a simple Designer who studied programming in his spare time, then evolving into a UI Designer, someone responsible for making the user interface in programs as intuitive and practical as possible, until he finally became a UX Developer.

A UX Developer is someone who tries to completely understand and master the User Experience in that application, someone who will make the whole experience as interesting and addictive as possible so that the user doesn't want to leave the application at any time.

And Noah was very confident in this area, to the point that three years ago he quit his job as Leader UX Developer at a large company to develop his own app.

This development, although troubled at first, smoothed out over time until the launch date was very close.

Unfortunately, a few nights before the app's scheduled launch date, Noah drank too much coffee and energy drinks, causing a severe pain to appear in his chest and everything to go black.

After an unknown period of time, Noah woke up with a terrible headache.

But when he opened his eyes, what he saw was a completely unfamiliar environment.

'Where am I?' Noah asked himself in fright.

Unlike the messy but cozy office he was used to, Noah now found himself in an environment that was completely white and endless in all directions.

'Am I hallucinating? Is this a dream?' He asked himself even more confused.

Worried, Noah tried to lie down on the white floor of that place and go back to sleep, hoping that he would be able to wake up again in his office.

But that didn't work, no matter how many times he opened his eyes, Noah always saw this same place.

'Maybe I'm in some alien captivity?' It was the only explanation he could think of, especially when he realized that the place was very bright, even though there was no lamp to illuminate it.

Looking around more calmly and carefully, Noah noticed that there was a strange object a few hundred meters from where he had woken up.

With nothing to do, Noah cautiously began to approach the object.

Surprisingly, the closer he got to it, the more familiar it became.

'Is that a computer?' he finally realized.

From what he could see, a strange white computer was sitting on a wooden table.

Picking up his pace a little, Noah finally reached the strange computer.

Unlike the modern computer he had, with three 4k monitors and an ergonomic keyboard and mouse to prevent injuries from long work sessions, the computer in front of him looked more like a relic from the 2000s.

A large white tube monitor, a wired mouse with a silicone ball underneath, a white keyboard that instead of using switches for mechanical clicks, only used the outdated silicone membrane technology.

Even the computer case was an unnecessarily large white model, used in the past to make the computer appear more powerful to a more lay audience, even though the actual components inside took up at most 20% of the space inside.

Noah looked around a few times to confirm that there was nothing else in the place, and realizing that maybe this was the way to understand where he was, he pressed the power button and watched the computer turn on.

Just as he imagined, the process of turning the computer on was very noisy and extremely slow.

And for him, who had nothing else to do there and didn't even have a chair to sit on, just watching the computer turn on for several minutes was like torture.

After what seemed like hours, the computer finally finished booting up and Noah could see the Windows XP screen in front of him.

On the Desktop there were only three icons.

[Dev.exe]

[Store.exe]

[Readme.Txt]

Reading the name of the text file, Noah realized that he could finally get some answers and quickly clicked on that.

[Hello Noah,

I'm sure this situation is very confusing for you, but this is the best way I could think of to make it happen.

You can call me Random Omnipotent Being, or ROB for short.

Basically, you had a heart attack due to too much caffeine in your system last night and died alone in your office.

As the ruler of your world, I noticed the impact the app you made had when it was released and felt it would be a waste to let a mind like yours be rebooted in the reincarnation process.

So I brought you here, an isolated space between dimensions with a computer and opportunities to explore different worlds.

Some of the worlds I manage are in the throes of extinction because the fate of those worlds is altering into something very tragic and far from what was intended.

Your mission will be to visit and use your genius to develop magical applications that you think are best suited to the people of those worlds and help avoid the tragic fates that are about to befall them.

How you do this will be up to you, I won't interfere at all, as for the benefits for this, you can find it in the [Store.exe] application on this computer.

I would like to have this conversation with you in person, but with your current strength, my presence alone would be enough to tear your existence apart, but I believe that this is only temporary.

Sure, if you don't want to, you can redeem a reincarnation potion in the Store for free at any time and reincarnate again, but know that just like everyone else, all your memories will be erased so that you come back as a newborn baby.

With love and affection, ROB].

Reading that file, Noah was completely shocked.

'So I really did die? And not only did I die, but I was hired by God to develop some kind of magical technology to help people from other worlds deal with their tragic fates?!' Noah tried to process what was happening.

Surprisingly, instead of freaking out or locking up as he should have done, his mind managed to deal with it much more easily than he had imagined.

'Maybe some divine buff to help me?' he thought.

After calming down, Noah realized that this proposal wasn't as bad as it sounded.

Basically he could travel to several different worlds, get to know different cultures, and meet different users with different needs for him to analyze and adapt to!

As for being reincarnated? That hadn't even crossed his mind, who would want to have their memories erased and their life restarted?

If he could reincarnate with his memories intact, he might even consider it, but reincarnating without any memories, what would be the difference between that and a suicide pill?!

Not to mention that he could even get good rewards for it, and out of curiosity, Noah opened the [Store] and looked at the items he could buy.

[Reincarnation Potion - 0 points]

[Sword skill (basic) - 10 points]

[Improved running - 25 points]

[Bow skill - 40 points]

[Water magic (level 1) - 100 points]

[Sword skill (intermediate) - 1,000 points]

[Basic Ninja Training (Naruto Academy level) - 4,000 points]

[Zoro style sword skill - ????? points]

[Dragon Slayer magic - ????? points]

[Complete Susano'o - ?????? points]

[Guts sword skill - ?????? points]

Looking at the starting prices of the other skills, Noah didn't know how to feel, since he had no idea how easy it was to get these points, but seeing the question marks on the pricing of the more advanced skills, he was confused.

'Maybe it's like an RPG where I can only see the value when I'm close to it?' He thought, a little frustrated, but accepting.

Seeing that he only had 1,000 points available, and that he could only see items that cost up to 5,000 points, he imagined that this might be the reason.

The Store had thousands of skills, knowledge and items.

As well as sword skills, there were both basic and generic Magic skills, as well as specialized skills from other characters such as Dumbledore, Natsu, Gandalf, Wanda Maximoff, Senju Tobirama...

Noah could see the price of some of the weaker characters' spells, but when the power exceeded a certain level, the value was replaced by several question marks.

'But that's a good carrot, with the possibility of learning skills from different anime, I'm sure I'll be even more motivated to do my job well, but how much work will I have to do?' Noah wondered intently.

As soon as he thought this, another file appeared on his desktop.

[Readme2.txt]

'Is ROB reading my mind?' He thought a little worriedly, but remembering that the being literally called himself 'Omnipotent', that wasn't so surprising.

So he opened the new text file.

[Hello Noah,

I'm glad to hear that you've accepted my proposal.

To better prepare you for your work, here's some information about what you'll need to know.

You already know the world you'll have to help, known to you as the World of Fairy Tales. A world with Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, John and the Beanstalk, and many others.

Due to an error in fate, many of the protagonists of this world will not have the chance to turn their lives around, causing much worse things to happen.

Your job will be to develop something technological/magical to help these people in the program [Dev.exe].

When someone uses the application you've developed, you'll receive part of the magic they used to keep it going, and this magic can be used both by you to perform spells and to develop the applications in [Dev.exe].

In this program, you can let your mind run wild and develop whatever you can imagine, with various AI features to help you speed up this process, only with the limitation of the amount of Points needed to develop each Feature, and the knowledge needed to do whatever you want to develop.

In the drawer I've just created below your desk, there are a total of 100 rings and a manual for how to make more in the future.

These rings will be the way people can materialize what you develop and use it.

Ps. What you learn in the worlds can help you improve your development even further.

Good luck, ROB].

Reading this explanation, Noah was even more surprised.

Despite knowing that he would have access to other worlds, and seeing in the store that he could learn skills from movies and anime, he never imagined that the world he could visit would be one of the story worlds he knew!

That made it all the more interesting.

And thinking about the characters of that world, such interesting characters, captivating princesses, and such powerful magic, Noah's blood began to boil as his mind worked at full speed to find the best way to develop something that suited those people!

The biggest regret he had was not seeing the result of the app he had worked so hard to make, but disregarding that, there were no important people in his life for him to miss in that world.

So, despite the great desire to try and buy something from the [Store], Noah didn't want to waste points without knowing the real value of it and began to study.

First he studied the [Dev.exe] program and then he studied how to make more rings.

Unfortunately, the process was quite complicated and it cost a few points to make each ring, but remembering the warning at the end of [Readme2.txt], Noah wondered if perhaps he could learn something to make it easier?

Putting the thought of the rings aside, he focused on planning what he was going to do next.

With his expertise in User Experience, the first thing he considered was the situation of his target audience.

In a medieval world, what people lacked most was entertainment and ease of communication, so there was nothing more interesting than creating something that could solve both of these problems in a short space of time.

With this in mind, Noah already knew what the first app he would develop would be!
