Chapter 7 - The bloody harvest

Chapter 47: The Seed of Betrayal in the South Port

Moving the Pawns

Rio Aclands wasted no time. A few hours after devising the plan, he was sitting in front of his computer screens, his fingers deftly navigating between advanced hacking programs. His goal was to sow seeds of doubt and betrayal between the Shinzou and Kai factions in the South Port area.

"Togi, the message has been sent," said Rio, pausing his typing. "I hacked into Kai's communication system and sent him forged documents that look like Shinzou's plan to attack him and wipe out his men."

"Nakht" looked from the corner of the room. "Will Kai believe it so easily?"

Rio replied with quiet confidence: "We added precise details about a missing weapons shipment that Kai was looking for. The documents say that Shinzou is hiding it in an old warehouse. This will make him act out of greed and anger, not reason."

"Fet" chuckled softly and maliciously as he sharpened his knives. "Greed and anger... they are our best allies in this city."

"Togi" nodded. "Now we wait. Let them burn their own bridges."

The Bloody Encounter

By midnight, the southern port area was ablaze.

Kai and his men, armed with light weapons, gathered in front of Warehouse No. 12, the location specified by Rio in the forged documents. Rage blinded Kay, but he didn't know that Shinzou wasn't inside the warehouse, waiting for him in a carefully planned ambush.

Suddenly, the warehouse doors opened, but instead of a shipment of weapons, a hail of bullets came pouring out.

Shinzo and his men were behind concrete barriers, fully prepared.

Shinzo shouted with a sadistic laugh over the sound of gunfire, "You fool, Kai! Did you really think I would keep such a treasure in an ordinary warehouse?"

Kai realized too late that he had fallen into a trap, but it was too late. A fierce battle ensued, bullets flew like rain, and men from both factions fell one after another.

The Hunters Enter

Togi and his companions watched the whole scene from the roof of a tall building overlooking the harbor. The scene was chaotic, blood was flowing, and hostility was tearing apart what remained of the Black Chaos gang.

"The plan worked," whispered Nakh, loading his sniper rifle, which was monitoring the scene. "Both of them are weak now."

"Shinzo has the numbers, but his men are exhausted," said Ryo, clutching a walkie-talkie.

Togi smiled his trademark smile that preceded a storm and drew his sword from its sheath. "Enough. The show is over. It's time to reap the harvest."

Togi leaped from the roof of the building, using a grappling hook to land in a hidden corner of the harbor, followed by Fit, Nakh, and Rio.

The atmosphere was still heated. Shinzou was advancing, reveling in his imminent victory over Kai.

"It's over, Kai! There will be no trace left of your faction..."

His words were interrupted by the sound of a metal blade cutting through the air.

Shinzo stared in shock at his right hand, which was now completely disabled. He turned to find Fit Marcus standing behind him, smiling coldly.

"The play isn't over yet," said Fit as he pulled out another knife. "We've just begun the final act."

The scene was turned upside down. The remaining members of both factions were surprised by the arrival of Togi's combat group.

Nacht used his sniper rifle to take down Shinzou's faction leaders with lightning speed and precision, causing immediate chaos among their ranks.

Ryo, despite his previous injury, used his weapon to silence the guards at the escape points, blocking any attempt to retreat.

Togi, meanwhile, was like a hurricane. His sword danced in the darkness, cutting men down with decisive blows that left no room for resistance. He fought not only to kill, but to display a power and leadership that no one could challenge.

Amid the chaos, a terrified Shinzou tried to escape, but Togi was faster.

He stood in front of him, his sword pointing at the ground.

"What do you want?" Shinzou shouted as he backed away. "You won't get anything!"

Togi replied in a low voice, but one that carried a deadly threat: "I don't want 'something'. I want everything."

With one blow, decisive and final, Shinzou fell.

A Message to the Black Hand

In less than an hour, the chaos at the southern port was quelled. Tōji's men controlled the area, seizing the few remaining supplies and resources.

Tōji looked at the horrific scene around him—blood, debris, and the end of two gang factions.

"We've taken the port. Now we can move the weapons and resources we need," Togi said to Rio.

But Rio was looking at something else. At Shinzou's body lying on the ground.

"Togi, look at this."

Rio pointed to a small, strange-looking tattoo hidden under Shinzou's wrist. It wasn't a normal tattoo for any faction. It looked like a seal of three black fingers wrapped around a central point.

"The Black Hand..." Togi whispered.

Ryo nodded slowly. "Shinzo was just a pawn. The Black Hand was moving him and watching us through him. This attack... had a deeper meaning."

Togi looked up at the dark sky. "Creed is coming, and now he knows where to find us. But we are not who we were a few days ago."

Then he gave his final order for the night.

"Ryo, send a coded message to every remaining faction in the city: 'The South Port is mine. Those who resist will meet their end here.'"

The attack on the port was just the beginning. Togi had firmly established himself as the new leader, but he knew that every step he took brought him closer to the bigger game and his opponent, whom he had yet to see: the Black Hand.
