Chapter 5 - The League of Villains

Aster walked into a dimly lit room with seven other people in it.

"THIS is her?" A voice asked immediately from one of the bar seats. Aster glared at the man she recognized as Twice.

"So lame." He continued in a deeper voice. "Woah, she's pretty!" Twice began to argue with himself as the other members started to speak up.

"Hi! You must be that one Hashiba Shigaraki was talking about!" A young girl piped up while running up to Aster and taking her hands. She stared down at them like they were the most priceless things in the world.

"Wow, you are so pretty! Look at how perfect your hands are!" Aster glanced at the hands holding hers. They looked the same. What did Toga see that Aster didn't?

"And your eyes," Toga sighed dreamily. "They are just so beautiful...green..." She began to trail off while staring deeply into Aster's eyes.

Okay, Aster thought to herself. WEIRD. But, they're also...nice? Cute? She tilted her head, making Toga squeal delightfully, and stared more intently at her.

From what she was told, Toga is only sixteen. That's five years younger than herself. Toga's quirk was fascinating since it required blood to work.

"Toga," Dabi said from across the room. "Stop pestering our guest. Why are you so annoying?" Toga turned around with an offended look on her face.

"RUDE." Was all she said to the man. Dabi snorted in response.

"Hello, madam." Another voice said politely. "I'm Mr. Compress. That girl who was just in front of you is Toga, and the man fighting with himself is Twice." He said while pointing at Twice, who was now snapping back at him and Toga.

"Shigaraki has already introduced you to us, and might I say you are just as beautiful as he said." Aster stared at Tomura. He said she was beautiful. Really?

"Shut up, Compress." He snapped. Mr. Compress chuckled and winked at Aster. She could feel her face getting red, but tried to ignore it.

"Hi?" Aster tried. She didn't know how to introduce herself to a group of villains. Should she tell them her quirk? Attempt to flee? Die?

"Alright," Tomura spoke up. "Onto business." He turned to face Aster and grabbed her wrists.

"How did you survive the accident?" He asked. "I saw how you looked, THIS," He said while gesturing to her fixed body. "Cannot happen naturally. So, what's your quirk?"

Aster didn't know how to respond. If they realized the infinite possibilities of her quirk, they could rule the world in seconds.

"M-my quirk?" She asked while trying to pull her wrists out of his grip. "My quirk is... I-it isn't really..." She began to stutter, trying to come up with a lie she could play off.

"I'm out," Dabi said, clearly unimpressed. "I'll come back when I feel like it." As he passed, Dabi shook the shoulder of Spinner.

"You coming?"

"Sure, not like anything is happening here." Aster watched as two of the members left. This made her feel better about talking.

"Quirk," Tomura stated bluntly, tightening his grip on her wrist.

"Fine! My quirk is Command! Got it? Cool! Now let go." She spat out. Aster attempted to retrieve her hand but failed again.

"Command?" Toga echoed with a confused expression. She tilted her head and stood in front of Aster. "What does it do?"

Crap. Aster thought. I should not have told them that.

"Nothing really..." She tried.

"Not nothing." Tomura cut in while releasing her hand. He crossed his arms and glared at her. "You fixed your body and can walk perfectly fine. Also, you don't seem to be in any pain." He leaned in. "So what does it do?"

Aster felt dread climbing up her back. She shuffled slightly.

"I..." She took a deep breath. "I am not going to tell you." She stared defiantly at Tomura's surprised face while crossing her arms. Aster's heart pounded in her chest and all her senses screamed that she was an idiot. I'm fine. She thought with forced confidence. I can do this.

She smiled. I command myself to be teleported back to my hospital room when I snap my fingers, and the League of Villains to forget everything I said about my quirk. Aster knew this was going to hurt like hell but she couldn't take being in their gazes anymore.

With a wave, Aster snapped her fingers together and arrived at her room. She let out a breath of relief before the side effects kicked in. Blood began to pour out of her mouth and ears and her stomach lurched.

Worth it.
