Chapter 3 - Chapter 2:A (Asphyxiation)

Raven woke up with a gasp, her heart pounding in her chest. Her birthday party how did she get here? She didn't remember making her way to bed. The last thing she recalled was the music thumping, the flashing lights, and the feeling of euphoria as she danced the night away. But after that? Nothing.

A blush crept up her cheeks as fragments of a dream flickered in her mind. "Daddy," she muttered under her breath, heat rushing to her face. She had called an unknown man that in her dream no matter how dazzlingly handsome he was, she must have been out of her mind.

The shrill sound of notifications pulled her attention. Her phone was practically vibrating off her nightstand, the school group chat blowing up with messages. Apparently, her party wasn't just the talk of the school it was the talk of the entire town.

She groaned, rubbing her temples. What the hell happened last night?

A quick glance at the time sent her screeching. Shit! She was ridiculously late for class. And considering she hadn't invited any of her teachers to her birthday party who even did that? they were bound to be extra salty about her absence.

Raven scrambled out of bed and rushed to the bathroom, taking the fastest shower of her life. She threw on a pair of black jeans and a frilly red top, barely managing to get her damp hair into a messy bun. A swipe of lipstick later, she looked in the mirror. Not her best, but definitely presentable.

Grabbing her bag, she dashed toward the door only to freeze mid-step.

Something cool and unfamiliar pressed against her skin. She looked down, and her breath caught. A delicate diamond waist chain shimmered against her bare stomach, the gemstones catching the morning light. It was exquisite, intricate... and undoubtedly expensive.

Panic crawled up her spine.

She had no memory of putting it on. No memory of receiving it.

Had someone given it to her? Had she... stolen it?

And, more importantly

What the hell really happened last night?

Raven hopped into the back seat of the sleek black sedan that always took her to school. As soon as the driver pulled up to the front gates, she flung the door open and sprinted toward her class, her heart hammering.

Good news she wasn't late.

The moment she stepped into the classroom, a chorus of excited voices erupted around her. Emma, Amara, and the rest of her friends swarmed her, all talking at once.

"Oh my God, Raven, last night was insane!"

"Best party ever!"

"You totally outdid yourself!"

Raven held up a hand to cut them short, her stomach twisting with unease. "You guys, it was my first time having alcohol. Did I... embarrass myself? Because I don't remember anything past that glass of champagne."

Emma scoffed. "Embarrass yourself? Girl, you were the life of the party!"

"You danced with all the cute boys," Amara added, grinning. "And after the parents went to sleep, you snuck us all to a private hideout to keep the party going."

Raven's brows furrowed. "Wait... what?"

Emma nodded eagerly. "Yeah, and you were with someone. The governor's son."

Raven's breath hitched. "What?"

Amara smirked. "Oh, he was completely all over you. You two made out and everything."

Raven's stomach dropped. Her? With the governor's son? Making out?

She was horrified.

Before she could fully process that revelation, Amara's eyes widened as they landed on Raven's waist.

"Oh my God." Amara grabbed her hand, tugging her closer. "You sly girl! That is gorgeous."

Raven looked down, and her throat tightened. The diamond waist chain gleamed against her skin, the intricate gold inlays catching the light.

Emma let out a low whistle. "That must have cost a fortune."

"Did the governor's son give you that?" Amara asked, her tone laced with curiosity.

Raven's mind scrambled for answers, but she came up completely blank. Then, a flicker of memory surfaced ,the dream. The man. The one she had called Daddy.

Her cheeks flushed, heat creeping up her neck. That's impossible. But still, the image of the mysterious man haunted her. His touch, his voice... it had felt so real.

She shook her head hastily, forcing a laugh. "Must have been the alcohol," she muttered under her breath.

But Amara and Emma were still staring at her, waiting.

Raven hesitated before lowering her voice to a whisper. "Someone gave it to me... in my dream."

For a second, there was silence. Then her two friends burst into laughter, their heads tipping back as they cackled.

"Oh, Raven," Emma wheezed, wiping a tear from her eye. "You were drunk if you actually believe a man from your dream gave you a multimillionaire waist chain."

The worst part? Half the class had been eavesdropping, and now they were laughing, too.

Raven groaned, sinking into her seat.

But deep down, she wasn't laughing. Because no matter how ridiculous it sounded, she couldn't shake the feeling that the waist chain and the man from her dream were very real.

"If I were you, I'd keep that hidden for now until you figure out what's going on," Emma advised, her voice unusually serious.

Raven was already embarrassed by the waist chain situation, but then Amara said something else that made her blood run cold.

"While we were having that mini afterparty I told you about, you disappeared for a while. We looked everywhere for you and didn't realize you were in your room sleeping. Or, you know... maybe you robbed a jewelry store."

Raven froze. "Wait... what?"

"You vanished, Raven," Amara said, her expression unreadable. "One second you were there, the next gone. And then you showed up with that." She gestured at the waist chain. "So either you sneaked off to take a nap, or you took a little midnight shopping trip."

Raven let out a nervous laugh, but her stomach churned. Where was I?

She tried to search her mind for something a memory, a feeling but there was nothing. It was a complete blackout.

A chill crawled up her spine.

"Was there... something in the drinks?" she asked, hesitant.

Emma's eyes widened. "Shhh! Do you want to implicate us?"

"Relax, I just "

"And yeah," Amara cut in, lowering her voice. "There was something at the party. You actually supplied it. Don't you remember?"

Raven's breath caught. "I... what?"

Amara nodded. "You brought some special champagne. Said it was a gift. A few of us tried it, but you had the most."

Raven swallowed hard. She had no recollection of any of that. Maybe she had taken something that wiped her memory clean.

Thankfully, the calculus teacher walked in, cutting the conversation short. The next two hours passed in a blur, her thoughts consumed by the mystery of the waist chain and the missing parts of her night.

By the time she got home, her head was pounding.

As expected, her parents weren't around. The perks of having rich parents? You basically raised yourself. Thankfully, she was old enough to never need a nanny again ever.

Dropping her bag, she headed straight to her room, peeling off her clothes. As she stood in front of the mirror, her gaze drifted down to the waist chain.

It gleamed with an unnatural light, shimmering as if it were alive.

Raven traced her fingers over the diamonds, admiring how beautifully they hugged her waist. It was exquisite, luxurious, hypnotic

Unbeknownst to her, she wasn't alone.

Azriel watched from the shadows, his glowing violet eyes locked onto her. She looked stunning with his gift, the delicate gold emphasizing her curves. A slow smirk curled on his lips.

She was his now.

Oblivious to her unseen audience, Raven reached for the waist chain, her fingers curling around the cool metal. She didn't know why she wanted to take it off she just had a gut feeling that she needed to.

The moment she tried, searing pain shot through her body.

She screamed, stumbling back.

Heart racing, she grabbed a pair of gloves and tried again. Nothing. She couldn't even budge it. Frustration boiled in her chest. She grabbed a pair of scissors and attempted to cut through it.

And then, something made her look up.

Her breath hitched.

In the mirror, partially hidden in the shadows, was the most beautiful pair of violet eyes she had ever seen.

Her blood ran cold.

The lights flickered.

A deep, velvety voice rumbled through the room, sending an involuntary shiver down her spine.

"That won't work, little one."

Her entire body tensed. Him.

Deep down, she knew it was the man from her dream.

Swallowing hard, she turned to face him. He was still in the shadows, watching her with an intensity that made her both nervous and... something else.

Raven took an instinctive step back, inching toward the nearest exit. But before she could move another inch,

The door slammed shut.

The lock turned with a loud click.

Neither of them had moved.

Her heart pounded in her chest.

She was trapped.

Raven had a million questions racing through her mind, but the one that slipped past her lips was, "What are you?"

Her voice trembled as she watched in horror. He didn't walk toward her he floated, stepping out of the mirror as though the glass were mere water, rippling behind him.

Her breath hitched. This isn't real. It can't be real.

Desperate to escape the nightmare, she willed herself to pass out. She didn't. Instead, her body betrayed her in the worst possible way. Humiliation burned through her as warmth spread down her thighs. She was... wetting herself.

A deep, amused chuckle echoed in her mind.

"Relax, little one."

His mouth didn't move, but she heard him inside her head. The voice was rich, smooth dangerously hypnotic.

"I'm not going to hurt you. But look what a mess you've made."

Raven was too paralyzed with fear to even feel ashamed.

Azriel took another step closer, the shadows clinging to him like a living thing. "Didn't you like my birthday gift?"

She stood stiffly, unable to answer, unable to breathe.

"Come here, silly girl."

Her legs moved on their own.

Panic surged through her as she realized—

 he was controlling her.

And then, another horrifying thought struck her.

She had been naked in front of the mirror.

A stranger had been watching her.

Her stomach twisted in shame, but before she could shrink away, he tilted his head at her, his violet eyes gleaming with something dark and possessive.

"If you keep doing this every time you're scared of me," he mused, his voice teasing but firm, "I might have to put you in diapers. Don't you think so, little one?"

Raven was completely frozen. What kind of monster was he?

Azriel sighed, shaking his head. With a flick of his fingers, the mess disappeared, and her skin was instantly dry. But he made no move to dress her.

"Why are you trying to destroy my gift, hmm? Didn't you like it?"

Something in his voice almost a touch of hurt snapped her out of her daze. She whispered, "I do love the gift... but how do I explain to people that someone gave me something worth several million dollars?"

Azriel smiled.

"Tell them I gave it to you."

Raven let out a humorless laugh. "Right. And I'm sure they'll just love that answer. You're a phantom of my imagination you're not even real. I doubt you even have a name."

His smile widened.

"I do have a name, little flame. My name is Azriel."

The name sent a strange shiver down her spine. It felt familiar, though she couldn't place it.

"It doesn't ring a bell," she said stubbornly. "And it still doesn't explain why you gave me such an extravagant gift."

"Don't worry," he said smoothly, "people will stop questioning it soon enough. They'll just accept that their princess is meant to wear treasures beyond their understanding. And I'm going to give you a lot more than that."

Raven swallowed. "Why on earth would you do that? You're just a stranger."

Azriel's eyes darkened.

"Are you sure I'm a stranger, princess?" His voice was low, dangerous. "I certainly hope you don't go around lying naked on strange men's laps and looking so comfortable with it. Because if you do, I would be... extremely pissed."

Her body tensed as she realized something. She was sitting in his lap.

When had he moved? When had she moved?

Panic surged, and she tried to squirm away, but his arms only tightened around her, firm yet gentle.

"Stop squirming, little one. Relax."

The moment the words left his lips, her body obeyed.

Her stiff muscles melted, and to her horror, she found herself leaning into him, completely at ease in his embrace. The fear that had gripped her only moments ago was... gone.

Her breathing slowed, her heart steadying.

This was wrong.

But her body refused to fight him.

"Why?" she whispered, barely able to think straight. "Why would you give me this expensive gift?"

Azriel tilted her chin up, forcing her to meet his gaze. His violet eyes burned with something deep, something ancient.

"Because you are my future bride-to-be."

Raven's breath hitched. "You're crazy."

Azriel didn't argue. He only studied her, his expression unreadable, as though silently committing every inch of her to memory.

His gaze dipped to her parted lips.

Raven barely had time to react before his mouth claimed hers.

A spark of shock jolted through her but then something else took over. Heat. Desire. A pull so strong she couldn't fight it.

She kissed him back, clumsy and inexperienced, but it only seemed to excite him.

A low growl rumbled in his chest, and he deepened the kiss, his grip on her tightening as if to brand her, to own her.

Raven should have been terrified. She should have pushed him away.

But she didn't.

She couldn't.

A fog settled over her mind, and all she could think about was him his touch, his taste, the way his lips moved against hers with such confidence, such intent.

Azriel smirked against her lips, knowing exactly what he was doing to her.

He had no intention of taking her just yet.

But he would give her the most intense pleasure she would ever have in her lifetime.

And when that time came to claim her... she would be the one begging him for more.

He trailed kisses all over her face , then back to her lip, he trailed a kiss down her neck and had to stop and laugh when she exclaimed that his kisses tickled her.he kissed her twin buxom before taking her each of her aching peaks into his mouth.

She moaned and fisted his hair into her palms afraid that if she didn't , he would stop his sexual onslaught on her , as a gentleman he gave the lady what she desired. His lips trailed her flat smooth stomach, his tongue flicked her belly button and she giggled.

He paused slightly at the nest of curls atop her petals , a shiver of anticipation raced through Raven , then she remembered that she had just wet herself and she panicked there was no way she was allowing this sexy stranger kiss her there when she just peed.

Azriel chuckled , "someone is an over thinker". he muttered making her shiver, "just relax, that is my reward from all of this and let me bring you pleasure, it's just a dream remember".

That seemed to pacify Raven and she relaxed completely against him a scream tore through her as his lips probed her darkest , innermost secret, Raven quite liked the sensation and parted her thighs and arched her hips against his warm tongue.

Azriel felt her going taut against him as her orgasm built and he stopped abruptly , Raven whined at the loss of contact and he smirked at her, "i thought you didn't want this ", she blushed and refused to look at him.

Azriel reached up and made her look at him and she did, "don't take your eyes off of me he ordered her". He slipped his hand under her neck and applied pleasure, then he went back to pleasuring her with his tongue.

As he sucked the tiny bud of pleasure into his mouth Raven quivered against him, he applied more pressure just the right amount to her neck and he continued pleasuring her with his tongue and fingers , Raven couldn't breath and she was afraid she would die.

"Relax and trust me ". Azriel whispered to her when he realized she was having a panic attack and once again, her body yielded to his command, she wondered at how much control this stranger had on her , with one last swipe of his tongue she was orgasming so hard that she was seeing stars and darkness.

That was the energy Azriel fed from and he allowed himself absorb the essence from the immense amount of pleasure that he had given her , then he remembered his promise that he would prove to her it was not a dream just above her waist he allowed his fang elongate and he dug into it drinking from her.

She tasted like spice and fine wine, by then Raven had completely passed out exhausted from the activities they had engaged in. with a snap of his fingers, she was covered with her duvet. He took one last lingering look at her before dissolving into mist.

Happy completely sated by the taste of her on his lips, he couldn't wait to have her again , Raven slept and dreamt of soft clouds and cotton candy, the heap of assignment she had was still undone and her English teacher didn't believe in tardiness , she would face detention.

She also had to hang out with her friend Amara and Emma , they had a party to attend but she was too exhausted to care and slept and slept and didn't wake until her maid knocked to inform her that dinner was ready.

Azriel feels you should vote and comment or he would come visiting 😁.
