Gu Ping looked at Amy, who had a bewildered expression on her face, and said seriously, "I say, doesn't it hurt?"
Amy frowned and looked like she was about to cry, "It hurts, how could it not hurt? But since you care about me so much, it feels like it doesn't hurt as much."
"Brother, how old are you this year?"
Gu Ping was eight or nine years older than her, yet he was addressed as "brother." Amy's voice was hoarse, and when she spoke, it was as if she had taken a handful of sugar, making people want to cough and clear their throats.
Yue Yue had been with Gu Ping for a year; sometimes she wasn't that perceptive, but as long as she was given a hint, she could immediately sense something was off.
She now understood what was wrong, frowned tightly, and looked Amy up and down, silently calling her an idiot.
Then, she saw Gu Ping stand up and go to find her attending doctor.
