At this time, the *Obsidian Watchers* were not a feared group but revered protectors, scholars of magic and keepers of balance in the realm. They maintained order and ensured that no entity became too powerful.
The Watchers lived in harmony, practising their arts and guiding the world's denizens. Their leader, known as the Prime Seer, had a vision that spoke of a darkness that would envelop the world—a malevolent force called the Shadows.
To prepare for this impending threat, the Watchers constructed the trials, designed to test and strengthen one's spirit against the seduction of the Shadows. However, they believed that by mastering these trials themselves, they could be invincible against the impending darkness.
But their hubris was their downfall. One by one, as they took the trials, the Shadows found a way to twist and corrupt them. They believed they were in control, but the Shadows slowly consumed them from within, manipulating their intentions.
In the present day, CLARA, using her newfound connection to the trials, witnesses these memories. She sees the Watchers' transformation, their ideals eroded, replaced by dark ambitions and cruelty.
Coming back to her senses, CLARA realizes the gravity of the situation. The Watchers weren't just playing a game; they were pawns of a much larger scheme.
As she prepares to confront them, she overhears the Watchers in whispered conversation, their voices tainted with malice. They speak of a grand plan, hinting at a force even more powerful than them.
Just as CLARA is about to retreat, she is spotted by one of the Watchers. "She knows," the Watcher murmurs.
With CLARA's horrified expression, realizing she's not just fighting for her friends, but against an ancient and pervasive evil that has corrupted the very beings she once thought could help them.
