Feeling someone tap me on the shoulder I stared at the large red-eye of Combot who stared at me silently before speaking.
Combot: "It is time for you to go to the City and your friend Miguel is waiting for you at the front of the factory…"
Victor: "Gotcha but man is it early…"
I got up from the chair and stretched my body entirely before taking a deep breath and exhaling.
Pop!
Crack!
As I turned to face the interior of the warehouse I stared at the warehouse that had fully changed with the grass and dead bushes gone and instead replaced by a metallic floor instead.
Combot: "It appears that the foreign yellow energy within your body can be accessed by me and used to create different materials"
Vincent: "Thats…interesting to know…"
Slowly thoughts started appearing in my mind and as much as I wanted to test it out, now wasnt the right moment to do so.
I walked out of the room and walked downstairs and onto the entrance were I saw Rhino wearing a black tactical uniform which surprisingly fit her rather muscular figure.
Infront of her were the Muscle-Loving Animals who were confused at seeing their leader in military uniform and rather heavy looking [Black] RIA T40 on her back.
Rhino: "Oh Hey Boss!"
Victor: "Morning Rhino…? Where did you get this outfit?"
Rhino: "Combot had made one for me last night and gave one to Miguel who needs to speak to you privately!"
Victor: "I see…thanks for letting me now"
Rhino: "Tell em I said thanks!"
Victor: "Alright I will"
I walked outside the factory gates and saw Miguel in the same black tactical uniform that Rhino was wearing, alongside a [Black] Raptor strapped around his shoulder, and a [Black] RIA 1010 on his hip holstered.
Victor: "Hmm? Now why do you have the same uniform as Rhino?"
Miguel: "This? Tell that to your friend who deemed me as your subordinate already so he gave me the outfit and this submachine gun…"
Victor: "Very well then, heard you needed to speak to me before I left?"
Miguel: "Yeah, your friend had a better idea with me now knowing how specialized your friend Combot is"
Victor: "Hmm?"
Miguel: "I wont ask how you managed to befriend an dangerous AI like Combot but with their help I can hide any trace of my involvement digitally"
Victor: "Well it appears you will have your revenge personally huh?"
Miguel: "Hah, thats for sure Hermano…"
I nodded and we both got into the car with me being in the passenger seat and Miguel in the driver seat.
Miguel: "Once we enter the city you should be getting a call from Wakako with places where we will be going first"
Victor: "Got it…"
Miguel: "Time to get this show on the road!"
With sudden enthusiasm Miguel booked it and we started driving at unprecedented speeds through the badlands towards Night City.
35 minutes later
As we passed through the Red Peaks valley I recieved a call from an unknown number and I answered it before I heard Wakako's voice come through.
Wakako(phone): "Hello Mr. Victor, It seems you are well prepared for your first job"
Victor: "Always need to be prepared Lady Wakako.."
Wakako: "I have a task for you, the netrunner is still alive, but what happens to her is either a matter of time or you losing your chance to get your target"
Wakako: "Bugbear is trapped in the Net, if she jacks out, the Tyger Claws stand ready, waiting like tigers to tear her to shreds…"
Wakako: "And if she doesn't her synapses will fry soon enough anyway…I am counting on you Victor, see the details attached.."
Victor: "Understood Lady Wakako…"
It wasn't long before I had recieved messages on my phone about the mission we were to do to gain access to Miguels Target.
I skimmed through the message and gave Miguel directions to head to Japantown near Salinas Street and updated him on our job.
Victor: "It seems like a rescue mission of sorts with a netrunner of hers being held up by Tyger Claws…"
Miguel: "Hah, classic Tyger Claws always fucking around with others that result in their own deaths"
Victor: "Depending on how many are there, drop me off to an adjacent building to help you when you start"
Miguel: "Sure thing Hermano…"
20 minutes later
Once we arrived at the place I climbed on a nearby buildings roof and after having Combot disable any security cameras in the area I materialized the HIKS 888 CAW and as I turned on thermals I counted the total amount of enemies and told their locations to Miguel who reached the stairway.
Victor(Comms): "Listen, you got 2x Tyger Claws near a green Quadro Turbo on the right of the building's entrance, 2x Tyger Claws on the roof holding up Civilians"
Miguel(Comms): "Gotcha…"
Victor: "Theres 2x Tyger Claws at the end of the hallway near the netrunners room, and one standing outside her balcony with his phone out…"
After calling out all the locations I heard Miguel say to take out the eyes above and below in which I did exactly that.

Victor(Comms): "2x boggies down…"

Victor(Comms): "The last two boggies are down, proceed with caution…"

Within seconds of each other, four Tyger Claws were dropped with electromagnetic charged bullets going through their heads with a single bullet through the walls.
Miguel(Comms): "Have my back, Im going in…"
Victor: "Always Miguel"
Miguel POV
I sighed before smiling bitterly and I carefully walked up onto the staircase and up the flight of stairs until the third floor.
I looked through the glass opening of the sliding door and saw both Tyger claws talking before one started walking towards me yawning.
I ducked and waited a few seconds once I saw that the Tyger Claw wasn't going outside. I took this opportunity to slide the door and sneaked up behind the Tyger Claw who was buying something in the vending machine.

I took out my knife and sneaked up behind him before I covered up his mouth and plunged my combat knife into his heart.
Before the other Tyger Claw could turn around from the other side of the hallway, I dragged the downed Tyger Claw outside where I threw his body over the railing into a dumpster.

Seeing the other Tyger Claw turn around in surprise of the loud sound, I hid behind the wall and waited for the now cautiously approaching Tyger Claw to walk closer to the sliding door.

Within seconds I got up from my hiding place, throwing my combat knife at his pistol wielding hand and rushed forwards with red monowire wrapped around both my hands.
MMPH-!
I wrapped the monowire around his neck and pulled him outside as he kept resisting until eventually he stopped moving at all.
Thud!
I dragged his body before throwing him off over the railing into the same dumpster and walked back inside as I slowly approached the door our netrunner is supposed to be in.
I asked through our comms if the Tyger claw is still on the balcony to Victor and he responded swiftly.
Victor(Comms): "Guy is still talking on his phone with someone…"
I hummed and opened the sliding door quietly before I looked around the room with our objective laying on a netrunner chair still plugged into the Net.
I waited for the Tyger Claw to finish his call before I got up against the wall as the Tyger Claw walked through the door.

Gasp!
I instantly pulled the monowire over his neck and chocked him and waited until he stopped resisting before I threw his body over the balcony as he fell onto trashbags.
I looked at the female netrunner and as I moved to unplug her I saw blinking words on the screen panels to stop and get the coolant in the bathroom.
I walked over and picked up the coolant and walked back to the netrunner before I plunged the coolant into her chest.
Whoosh
???: "Gasp!"
Hearing her gasp I unplugged the cables connected to her body and as I was about to pick her up I heard Victors concerned voice.
Victor(Comms): "Miguel a convoy of 4x Tyger Claw vehicles are coming your way! Quickly extract the netrunner and go back to the vehicle!"
Miguel(Comms): "Got it! Extracting our target!"

I quickly put the netrunner over my shoulder and I looked at the broken balcony before I jumped below with the dead Tyger Claw and trashbags cushioning our fall.
I got up quickly with the netrunner over my shoulder and as I ran to the left of the apartment building Victor told me there were 3x Tyger Claws around my Thornton.
Miguel(Comms): "Dammit! Guess we need to go loud..!"
Victor(Comms): "Go! I'll cover your retreat!"

RATATA!!! x3
???: "Argh!"
I raised the raptor and pulled the trigger as a three shot burst hit the first Tygerclaw who turned around the corner.
Whoosh

The second Tygerclaw couldn't raise his Crusher in time before Victors bullet blew his head into gore bits.
RATATATA!'!! x3
I pulled the trigger on the last Tygerclaw who fell instantly and I quickly put the netrunner into the Thorton's passenger seat and put the seatbelt over her unconscious body.
I moved to the drivers side before getting inside and put my foot on the gas as I floored it but it seems the Tygerclaws noticed and gave chase.
Victor(Comms): "Try to lose them I will catch up soon!"

Miguel(Comms): "Then do it quickly otherwise I'll have more Tygerclaws up my ass!!!"

It wasn't long before the Tygerclaws started firing from their cars and at the same time one of the four chasing vehicles had suddenly instantaneously combusted into a ball of flames.
Victor POV

I aimed the HIKS 888 CAW at the last car and aimed at the driver before I pulled the trigger and a electromagnetic bullet was fired with tremendous force tearing through the sound barrier leaving a trail of superheated air and
Ka-BOOMMM!!!
As the bullet tore through the driver it had gone right through the reinforced steel of the cars engine altogether and the car became a ball of raging fire.
I ran towards the interwoven power cables connected to the hotel and waited for a car I could jump on and I didn't need to wait long for that.

Seeing a rather large monster truck driving down the road I counted down their velocity before I jumped down and landed on the bed of the truck with a loud thud.
???: "Hey there partner! Mind me asking why you are on my mighty fine truck!"
It wasn't long before I heard the driver speak loudly and while I wanted to commandeer the vehicle it seemed the driver was reasonably calm which was surprising.
You would think they would stop and kick me off but he continued driving without stopping once.
Victor: "Sigh, sorry to bother you but my friend is being chased by Tyger Claw-"
???: "Hah! Then just tell me which direction to go partner! Those bastards dared to steal some of my merchandise a few weeks ago!"
Victor: "Since we have a mutual enemy against the Tygerclaws lets hunt them down!"
Vroom!
???: "You aint gotta say it twice partner!"

The driver had floored it and after placing the HIKS 888 CAW ontop of the cab I aimed down the sights at a Shion before I pulled the trigger.

Ka-BOOMMM!!!
The Tygerclaws Mizutani Shion had blown up by a superheated bullet tearing through its armor from the back to the engine bay where it blew it up engulfing its passengers in flames.
Victor(Comms): "Armed vehicle down…"
Miguel(Comms): "Got it! I'll guide them away before the other reinforcements catch up!"
???: "Yeehaw! That's what I'm talking about! Shoot those damn bastards!"

Surprisingly the monster truck had catched up on a vehicle before swiftly driving beside them and the driver pulled out an old double-barreled shotgun and pulled the trigger at their tires.
Screech!
With its tires popped the van had swerved into the sidewalk before hitting a wall harshly and blew up into a ball of fire.
???: "Yeehaw! I'm all riled up!"
The Monster truck driver had suddenly revved his engine and as Miguel took a corner with the last tyger claw shooting at them I shot at the tygerclaws tires watching them spin out of control and hit a streetlight post.

As they got out the car dazed and aimed at the truck driver I had ducked and switched to the GG17 and pulled the trigger killing two of the four who had stepped out.
???: "Hold on back there! Its bout' to be a bumpy ride!"
As the rest of the Tygerclaws shot the driver he drove straight at them without fear before he shouted out loudly to hold onto something.
I grabbed onto the top railing of the truck and watched him run over the poor bastards skulls into the pavement and I couldn't help but increase the drivers level higher than just a regular guy.
???: "Yeehaw! Damn did that feel good! Now onto the last car!"
With a burst of speed the monster truck weaved through traffic and I switched back to my sniper rifle before I aimed at the last Tyger Claw vehicle and with a final pull of the trigger it went up in a ball of flames.
Victor: "Listen! Drive out of the city and avoid getting caught!"
???: "You got it stranger! Man was this a darn good day!"
Once the last Tyger Claw vehicle was destroyed I received an anonymous call from an unknown number and I accepted the call before I heard Wakako's voice on the other end.
Wakako(phone): "Mr. Victor you do understand that I told you to not bring Mr. Miguel otherwise this situation of his can spread into a full on war right?"
Victor: "Well as fate would have it, Miguel isn't with the Valentinos no longer and I believe only you want something from me for you to keep quiet…no?"
Wakako(phone): "Quite observant you are Victor…"
Wakako(phone): "You are currently in the Tygerclaws Top priority list alongside your associates but that is only if I give the Tyger Claws the names of there would be attackers"
Victor: "That so? Then that means I owe you a favor Lady Wakako…"
Wakako(phone): "So it would seem so but answer me this Victor…"
Wakako(phone): "Are you involved with any corporations in Night City?"
Hearing her question I was stumped before I sighed and thought deeply on how I would choose the direction we would head in with Combot at the core and me as the Head if I were to theoretically make a corporation.
Victor: "Hah…"
I couldn't help but chuckle before I gave my answer that was satisfactory to my current position and future plans.
Victor: "No, rather I aim to challenge the current corporations in Night City with my own Corporation"
Wakako(phone): "You…what a dangerous mission you plan to undergo by yourself…"
Victor(phone): "No, I have gathered some allies who have decided to join me and I garner that question was to do with the weapon in my hands?"
Wakako(phone): "Indeed but now I wish to see wether that answer of yours will rise high to the stars or be swallowed up by this city's darkness"
Victor(phone): "Then I hope you can continue helping me if you want to see the results with your very own eyes"
Wakako(phone): "Hah, then don't get swallowed by the darkness…the meeting location has changed and I will keep my promise to you"
Victor(phone): "Thank you for your time, Lady Wakako"
Wakako(phone): "Just tell that Wolf of yours to be prepared for the consequences of his actions and to snuff out those rats quickly before they snuff him out first… that is all.."
I smiled before the call ended and I received a text on a meeting place before I dialed Miguel and told him of the meeting to drop off the netrunner.
Miguel(phone): "Gotcha but who was driving you around? Another affiliate of yours?"
Victor: "No but he might be a good connect to have judging by some merchandise Tyger Claws had stolen from him weeks ago"
Miguel(phone): "Understood, I'll see you there Victor"
Victor: "I say the same to you Miguel…"
After saying our goodbyes I gave the driver the street address a block away from the meeting location and he quickly drove off to the location.
15 minutes later
???: "Well then stranger this seems to be your stop!"
Victor: "I didn't catch your name there stranger…."
???: "Well my name's Joseph Morgan, an independent Farm owner near the outskirts of Night City growing crops but as you heard I also do some orthodox work to keep the farm in the green"
Victor: "Nice to meet you Mr. Morgan, while unforseen circumstances happened we seem to have crossed paths and I admit you are quite a reliable person to have"
Joseph: "Well when someone fighting the same guys I hate there's always some common ground between them"
Victor: "Well if you do find yourself at odds with the Tyger Claw's don't be afraid to call for help!"
Joseph: "Then I'll take you're word for it partner, farewell! Yeehaw!"
After saying our farewell he revved his monster truck and left as quickly as we had arrived within seconds.
10 minutes later
I sighed and walked down to the meeting place where I found Miguel waiting with the netrunner in the back of the thorton and a low rider with two people waiting.
Seeing me walk towards them, one of the men raised his Ajax but stopped as Miguel raised his RIA 1010 and aimed it at the guy with the D5 Copperhead.
Miguel: "Keep pointing that gun at my Hermano pendejo and it will be the last thing you ever see…"
Victor: "Wolf…stand down…"
Miguel: "Not until he puts his down…"
As the both of them were about to shoot someone walked out of the door hurriedly trying to mediate.
???: "Wait wait! Nobody shoot! You stupid motherfucker! Why did you draw your gun at him!"
???: "It's a private negotiation! If some dumbasses come in we gott-"
???: "Motherfucker! If someone walks in with Arasaka type of equipment you let them through! Why do I wanna die for some trivial shit I am not involved in!"
Hearing his boss's words the guy lowered his D5 Copperhead and Miguel lowered his back into his holster.
???: "Sigh, I am incredibly sorry about his actions!"
Victor: "Where is the information promised by Lady Wakako…"
???: "Here!"
The bald guy threw over a small black USB to me as I approached them and I catched it before throwing it toward Miguel who had caught without breaking contact with the guy who drew his D5 Copperhead.
With Miguel going through the information in the USB, I looked at the bald guy with a blue jacket and green Overtune.
Victor: "If you don't mind, are you a direct subordinate of Lady Wakako?"
???: "Me? I am an unfortunate man who ended up owing favors to Lady Wakako but over the years I have come to understand her business etiquette and with it trust"
???: "Does that answer your question friend?"
Victor: "Then tell her this, I wish to have a proper conversation about the future"
???: "Hah, I will pass along your words Mr Victor"
Miguel: "Victor let's go!"
Victor: "Then I believe it's time for us to go"
???: "So it would seem"
I smiled before getting into the Thorton as Miguel drove off towards Northside, Westbrook which made it somewhat interesting since it looks like our guy hid in Maelstrom territory.
Narrator POV
As Miguel and Victor drove off, back at the car with Lady Wakako's subordinates the one who aimed his weapons had gone to the side to take a call.
As he was about to take the call, a sudden gunshot rang out and he fell down not knowing why he was shot.
In his final moments the shooter walked beside his body before he spoke calmly without emotion.
???: "As Lady Wakako says, "It's best to root out the weeds at its core before it spreads." You were about to sell out Lady Wakako's guests weren't you…"
???: "Get him in a body bag and dump him into the harbor…fucking rat fuck!"
And just like that a person dies with Night City not giving a damn for he had yet to be known as one of Night City's legends only remembered as a rat.
Just the same as many deaths happen in Night city by betrayal, backstabbing, murder, assault, robbing, assasinations etc.
Victor POV
As we passed by the H11 Megabuilding where the target waited at the very top, we saw multiple Maelstrom stationed at the front with weapons drawn in the open.
Victor: "So this should be the last mission before we get the data for your guy huh?"
Miguel: "Yeah…but looking at the front, the back might be our only way in…"
Victor: "If Combot can cause a major disruption that can get rid of most of Maelstrom from the back entrance"
Miguel: "Then it would be best to start right now knowing these pendejos don't give a damn except for chrome…"
Victor: "What floor and room number is our guy in?"
Miguel: "Room 847…on the 20th floor…"
Victor: "If our target is still there, then we go if not we wait a bit more until he arrives"
Once Miguel nodded I asked Combot to hack into the H11 security feed and look around floor 20, room number 847.
Combot: "Understood, hacking through security feed….access gained…searching… room found…"
Victor: "Try to hack into any outlets inside the room to see if our guy is there"
Combot: "Hacking outlet…access gained…searching..2x body signatures found!"
Victor: "What did he look like?"
Miguel: "From the picture, red mohawk with a scar on his lip"
Victor: "You got that?"
Combot: "Matching face and physical description with both figures…match found…"
Victor: "Looks like we won't have to wait for awhile…"
Miguel: "Then let me ask you this, will you have a problem with me killing the Maelstrom…?"
I looked at him in surprise before chuckling as he looked at me seriously as I answered him shortly after.
Victor: "No, from what I've heard… getting rid of them is the best choice for this city"
Miguel: "Best to rid the city of a cancer these malditos pendejos"
I nodded before we got out of the Thorton and switched to my GG17 with Miguel holding his [Black] Raptor as we put on our helmets.
With it being night time, it meant far less civilians to see us fully armed so we made it to the back were there were around 6x Maelstrom grunts smoking and beating up a civilian.
As we took cover I told Combot to prepare a blackout and it wasn't long before all six groaned in pain of their eyes suddenly sparking in flames as they were blinded.
???: "Who cut off the damn lights!"
???: "Wh-! Gah!"
???: "Watch it fucker!"
As they moved around like headless chickens we both switched to kill them silently and so we took them out with an arm around the neck or a throat sliced.
???: "What the hell was that sound! Mike? Mike where the fuc- Gah!"
???: "Fuck it's a netrunner!!!
???: "Run awa-!"

As one ran cluelessly into a wall, Miguel threw a knife at the back of his head before he turned him around and slammed the back of the head against the wall with the knife sticking out to the front.
I snapped the final Maelstroms neck as the door is opened by Combot and we enter inside and stand before an elevator that has people coming down to check.
Victor: "Move beside the Elevator and hide yourself before we take them down them"
As we waited until the elevator opened up and three Maelstrom walked out I aimed at the last ones head and pulled the trigger.

???: "Wh- Argh!"
???: "Sh-"
Swiftly I wrapped my arm around the neck of the nearest maelstrom and choked them out as they struggled before they slowly stopped all movement.
With Miguel snapping the other Maelstrom's neck we searched their bodies for identification and found 2x of them for elevator access.
Placing the access card on the display scanner, I picked the 20th floor as we waited until the elevator opened up and right when we were nearing the 20th floor Combot warned us of Maelstrom waiting in cover.
Victor: "Use a wide blackout on all Maelstrom grunts and check if our target has escaped"
Combot: "Searching now…target is still inside but restless…blackout has been successfully issued…"
As we arrived in the 20th floor with our weapons raised numerous Maelstrom were laid on the floor holding their heads in agony and It was the first time I fully saw how much chrome was put into their bodies.
Victor: "Wolf go and grab our target before he makes his grand escape"
Miguel: "On it!"
As Miguel left to find the exact room number I told Combot to start testing how much he could utilize the strange energy.
Victor: "Get rid of all security footage and erase footage until last night"
Combot: "Orders received…wide floor blackout applied…starting experiment 004…use of energy capable of affecting this worlds reality…"
Victoria: "Gotta admit, having people full of chrome makes this a lot easier…"
Slowly golden threads started coming out of my body before merging together as they each touched the corpse of a Maelstrom as they slowly started dissipating in golden motes of light that went back into my body.
As they all began gathering into my body I felt a deep resonance within me that felt similar doing my mission in the small town in the Badlands as I killed the Wraiths.
Combot: "Experiment successfully achieved…uploading data…data successfully uploaded"
Once all the bodies disappeared, Miguel came back with the guy who was bleeding heavily from the knife wounds in his body.
Miguel: "He tried running only to be punished somewhat…"
Victor: "Then lets get the hell out of this place…"
Just as swiftly as we arrived did we leave the H11 Megabuilding with our target in tow and it wasn't long before I received a phone call from an unknown number.
Victor: "I believe you have something for us…?"
???: "Indeed we do, just like before it's a drop off location except someone will be giving you the location of your main target personally"
Hearing the unfamiliar voice I hummed in agreement and listened to them speak lightly before hanging up.
A text followed soon after of the address we were to meet Lady Wakako's subordinates and finally fulfill Miguels vengeance.
Miguel: "Location?"
Victor: "Capitola St near Kabuki…I suggest changing our vehicle to something else or else we will be fighting the entirety of the Tygerclaws"
Miguel had stayed silent before he reluctantly agreed and I simply told him that his revenge will be fulfilled once we drop the guy off.
Miguel: "Yeah…then you would understand that I want to personally take my time teaching that pendejo what happens when he killed mi estrella…"
Victor: "I understand, if Tygerclaws start to overrun the place then I will have to take some of that time off your hands…"
Miguel: "Then I will make it quick…"
20 minutes later
After parking the Thorton in a garage, we borrowed a Quarts EC-L model and later changed our clothes to fit Kabuki's esthetic.
Miguel: "Hah, you sure look different with bright clothing on!"
Victor: "Well when you're in the military, you don't get a chance to mess around only after you've done your service"
Miguel: "Ah guess you guys have it tougher huh?"
Victor: "You can say that"
It wasn't long before we reached the given location and pulled into a street where there was garages lined up and someone was waiting at the very back.
Seeing us drive in, the guy in black clothing turned to us before he knocked on the garage before it opened up and he pointed inside.
I unholstered my GG17 from its holster and once Miguel had parked inside we got out before the same guy as earlier opened the truck of the car and looked at our target.
???: "They got the package boss!"
???: "Thats fine, now to conclude our end of the deal…take this"
The guy who is in all black except for his teal colored Ajax had thrown a USB at Miguel who caught it and spoke once more.
???: "Lady Wakako has given us instructions for the following if you want to get your guy"
???: "Tomorrow around 8:30PM, we are to drive you towards a private Tygerclaw meeting where the Wolf's objective is staying at for the time being…"
Miguel: "Will we be personally attending or simply sneaking around?"
???: "Due to the deaths of numerous Tygerclaws, including the death of Azegami-sama's nephew…they will be reorganizing their numbers to start hunting for his nephew's killers"
Hearing the information coming out from his mouth I couldn't help but sigh with Miguel staying resolute.
Miguel: "What will be our designation for us to be qualified to attend this meeting?"
???: "You both will serve as Lady Wakako's bodyguards during your time at the meeting"
Hearing the word bodyguards made both Miguel and my own faces take on a surprised expression but we nodded reluctantly.
Victor: "Then we will wait patiently for you to call us"
As we were about to head out, the guy in all black stopped us from walking out before he pointed back at the other subordinate of Wakako.
???: "Lady Wakako expects you both to be well dressed for the occasion, or would you rather go with your current outfits and disrespect Lady Wakako?"
Victor: "Well I'll be damned, guess we are going with you"
???: "Thank you for accepting Lady Wakako's generosity! My name Kenji Takahashi, one of Lady Wakako's subordinates"
Victor: "She has helped us with achieving our own goal so it is only right to pay her back Takahashi-san"
Beep!
Hearing my words Kenji smiled and we walked out of the garage from one of its side doors and saw a sleek black car stationed outside without a driver.
Combot: "Victor, I sense an Ai within that vehicle"
Victor: 'What? But why would an dangerous ai be left alone and not noticed yet!'
Combot: "It seems to have been split with this being a partial entity from the Ai itself…adding research into AI research files…"
Having been confirmed with Combot over this AI I stared at it cautiously but didn't make my cautiousness obvious.
Kenji: "That is a Delamain cab, one of the cities most prestigious cab services with Ai integrated functions to better serve its customers"
Victors: "Is that so? I thought Ai's were banned from interacting with humans because they are extremely dangerous?"
Kenji: "I personally don't know why it's allowed to continue its services but it hasn't caused harm to any of its clients so it's been left alone"
Miguel: "Hmm, then where will we be getting our suits from?"
Kenji: "In a store in the central district called Jinguji store"
Victor: "The Jinguji store? I have been there before for some suits I had ordered to be tailored"
Kenji: "Oh? Then it will make it easier for us to cooperate with our contacts"
I simply nodded and stared out the window where Tygerclaws beat up people and countless homeless men and women layed on the streets.
Some of them might have a missing leg or arm that's replaced by mechanical arms and seeing such a sight I couldn't help but remember old buddies who after being bit would cut off their own limbs if no antidote was available.
With limited doses going around the private corporations there wasn't much for them to do but retire if they survive.
Victor: 'Hey Combot, If we someday get things up and running with our own corporation…you mind helping some down on their-luck-veterans?'
Combot: "Similar to that of the Animals and Rhino who have begun their training?"
Victor: 'Yea- Wait a god damn minute! You got the rest of the Animals to join in!?'
Combot: "From hourly observations…once Rhino beat the rest with the use of CQC, the rest submitted and as of now are all training to beat Rhino"
Victor: 'Hah, then it looks like I will need to train them up just like old times…sigh…"
