Hearing James's words, Charles's face remained expressionless. He walked to the collapsed wall beside him and silently pushed it aside, carefully picking out the jars containing various organs one by one.
Seeing his demeanor, the smiles on the crew's faces gradually disappeared. Clearly, their captain was not thinking the same thing as they were.
He unwrapped the bandage, took Lily off his shoulder, placed her on the ground, and gently pushed her back with his finger.
"Mr. Charles, are you reluctant to part with that monster sister?" Lily fluttered in front of Charles and asked in a low voice, her ears drooping.
Charles shook his head. Looking at the cracking jar in his hand, he turned his head to speak to his ship doctor, "Linda, find me some more jars and preserving liquid, this one is broken."
