As the weeks and even months passed by Mirajane and Axel found themselves spending more and more time together, eventually there came a time when Mirajane started to love him exactly the same way he felt about her.
Axel and Mirajane were such a cute couple, inseparable from their very first date. Axel couldn't explain how happy it made him feel when Mirajane told him she loved him. It actually brought him to tears.
Mirajane had smiled at that, wiping his tears she had pressed her lips against his and they shared their first kiss.

Axel yawned as he felt himself stirring out of his sleep, he blinked a few times to get the blotches out of his vision, once he could see clearly he smiled as he felt Mirajane close to his chest, his arms around her. He yawned and tried getting out of Mirajane's death grip which caused him to laugh a little.
Trying a little harder he managed to get out of her hold. Axel walked to his closet and threw on some new clothes before heading into the living room where he saw Alexa smiling at him.
"What?"
"Mira-san is over here so often it feels like she lives here."
"It does feel like that doesn't it?" Axel chuckled
"Do you plan on going on any missions anytime soon or are you just gonna spend the rest of your days with your new girl?"
Axel rolled his eyes. "I've been on missions, haven't I told you about the new team I formed? It consists of myself, Lucy, Erza, Natsu , Mira and Gray. Team Axel."
Alexa blinked. "You might've mentioned it….must've slipped my mind somehow."
Axel scratched his head. "I'm not gonna lie, I've been taking it easy. I'd much rather be with Mira than on a dangerous mission, but I plan to do a serious mission soon."
"That's what I like to hear."
"But for now I'll get breakfast started."
Alexa smiled, her stomach growling a bit
Axel laughed as he moved towards the kitchen.

Mirajane opened her eyes to the smell of eggs, sausage and pancakes in the morning. She frowned as she no longer felt the warmth Axel gave off when he held her. She figured either Alexa was cooking or it was Axel because Erza couldn't cook to save her life. Considering her boyfriend was a hopeless romantic she knew it was him.
She yawned before getting out of bed and exiting the bedroom.

Axel smiled, his hand on a plate as he looked at his lovely girlfriend. It looked like he had placed a plate in front of Alexa, Erza was already enjoying her breakfast and the rest of the plates were already setup.
"It looks good." Mirajane said as she took a seat. Axel took a seat beside her.
A moment or two passed before Axel paused, putting his fork down.
"Axel?" Wondered Erza.
"You good?" Alexa wondered
Axel nods. "I was just thinking it would be a good idea for team Axel to go on a mission soon. It has been awhile."
"Yeah. We can talk to the others later." Said Erza before returning to her food.
"Your bored being with me all the time aren't you?" Asked Mira
"No. Mira of course not. It's just-" Axel sighed. "There's a lot of bad people in the world. I just think I could be out there helping people."
"That's my little hero." Said Alexa. "Mom and dad would be so proud."
"Thanks."
And so they continued to eat.

Lucy sighed as Natsu opened the window and vomited. "That's gross."
Gray laughed.
"Do you guys have to be doing that right here?"Erza sighed as she watched Axel and Mirajane in a lip lock but of course she was ignored as they continued to kiss. Axel brought her closer if that was even possible wrapping his arms around her.
After pulling away from the kiss the both had a light blush on their faces. Mira looked at him and smiled telling him she loved him.
"Love you too Mira." Axel grinned

"So what's the mission again?" Natsu asked
"Weren't you paying attention when Erza explained the mission?" Lucy asked
"Nope!"
The blonde sighed. "You're hopeless. Axel?" She asked turning to her best friend.
Axel nods. "Apparently there's a powerful Wizard here that has killed a lot of people. The leader of Haggard Town wants us to deal with the enemy. Take him out. Of course we have to be careful. We don't know if he has any Ally's on his side."
"How will we find him?" Mira asked curiously.
Axel pointed to his nose. "I'm a dragon slayer. I should be able to pick up his scent. The town's leader did mention the enemy had killed quite a bit of people."
Mirajane frowned. Now she felt stupid. Of course he had a powerful sense of smell being a dragon slayer.
"I'll see if I can pick up a trail." Axel said as he began sniffing the air looking for anything that could lead to the enemy.

"…..Is that right? Two dragon slayers and even Titania and The Demon Mirajane. Interesting. Why don't you go greet our friends Katsuo?"
Katsuo was a young man in his mid twenties with silver hair and silver eyes. He chuckled. "As you wish…I'll make quick work of them."
The obvious leader chuckled as Katsuo made his leave. He was sure Katsuo would give them a real challenge.
"After all he is the true Lightning God Slayer…."
