Chapter 3
Thankfully the chief had offered his backyard so he could train. It was a large backyard with a huge waterfall and the land stretched out to what seemed like forever.
Axel swiped his hands through the air a serious look on his face.
"Water Dragon's Droplet!"
Suddenly a barrage of over 200 water droplets appeared in the air. Bear with it! Increase the amount! You can do it Axel! He thought with resolve.
Gradually the droplets increased to well over 300. Axel gritted his teeth before allowing the droplets to crash to the ground leaving marks only a powerful water droplet could leave behind.
Axel knew it wasn't gonna be easy….but he had to get stronger no matter what. He had. Few ideas for training and even some for a new move or two.
The ravenette looked at the waterfall in front of him. For the next training he would need it. The idea was to stop the flow of water.
"Here i go…"
Kaasan…tousan watch over me….

Axel's training was intense. He would train a day until he was almost out of magical power. He would try to cut the flow of water but it was easier said than done. He often wondered if it was even possible? It took him about a month to master it.
And after he had accomplished that he started to feel more power within him. It wasn't long after that he began training to further improve his other techniques and even create new ones.
For one of his new moves he got from one of his friends at Fairy Tail, Juvia. Her water slicer attack had given him motivation.
As more and more time passed he got stronger and stronger still. It was painful as hell but at the end of the day what kept him going was the thought of rescuing Lucy and going back to his friends at fairy tail. His family.
And when 3 months had passed he finally decided to pay Jeff a visit.

"This sucks." Muttered Lucy as she was forced to give one of Jeff's men a back massage. Luckily n the three months she had been kept as a slave they didn't do anything perverted to her but who knows when they would force her to do those type of things with them.
"Oi rub them with your-" Lucy glared at him.
"What's that look for? Do it wench!"
Lucy winced as she was slapped leaving a bruise.
"Sir? Permission to-"
Jeff narrowed his eyes as all his men fell to the ground. They looked to be unconscious. "What the-"
Suddenly his eyes rested on where his most recent slave Lucy heartfilia stood.
Because standing in front of her was a very much alive Axel.
The teen had one arm bandaged and he had a black unzipped jacket thst on the back of it was of a dragon spewing out water.
Tears welled up in Lucy's eyes. "Axel you're…"
"Sorry to keep you waiting. It's time I take you out once and for all." Axel glared at the slave owner. "Jeff!"
Lucy looked at her best friend as he destroyed the restraints on her freeing her. There was so much she wanted to say but she didn't get to as Axel vanished.
At the same time Jeff vanished, their fists slammed into one another creating friction in the air.
The two Mages clashed their fists connecting, each time it created friction in the air which made wind blow everywhere.
"Axel!"
"Whoa!"
"Ax!"
Lucy looked at a few of her friends. "Ezra! Natsu! Juvia!"
All three looked at her.
"You look like crap Lucy! Hahaha!" Natsu lsughed
Axel suddenly landed a punch on Jeff. This punch sent him to the ground carving up the landscape. He sped through the grovel creating a trench.
As Axel was descending to the ground he swung his arms out.
"Water Dragons Droplet Barrage!" Now Axel couldn't use his other move as he knew it would harm his friends and not to mention the slaves.
A barrage of over 200 droplets fell on Jeff causing him to scream in pain. Axel watched as Jeff stood breathing heavily. Not too long after that he landed on the ground.
"Oi…you've seriously powered up these past few months! You bastard." Jeff grinned.
"I'm gonna make you pay for every crime you've ever committed." Axel said.
"Che. Yeah right."
"You put my friend though hell, you better believe that I'm going to make you experience the most imaginable pain ever." Now it was Axel's turn to grin.
"Wind Creation Magic; Infinite Barrage!"
Axel looked up as a barrage of spear made out of wind launched at him.
"Axel!"
Ezra summoned a sword to her hands.
"Don't move." Axel said. "I got this." The young slayer dodged all of the spears sent at him, when the barrage was done and over with he jumped up and his eyes narrowed.
"Water Dragon secret art; Water Disc!" Axel waved his hand and a disc of water formed.
"That'll never hit me! It's much too slow! Gahahaha!"
Suddenly the disc speed picked up causing his eyes to widen.
"Fuck!"
Everyone watched as Jeff lost an arm, blood spewing everywhere. Luckily for Jeff he managed to evade a fatal blow at the last minute.
Shit! Now I have to beat him before I bleed out! Jeff glared at the young boy who dared defy him.
Even with one arm Jeff was able to keep up with him.
"Are you gonna be ok? Your bleeding out Baka."
"Piss off!"
Axel slugged him across the face and appeared behind him sending him flying with a kick.
"Your getting slow." Axel noted. "Is it time I ended this?"
"As if you could runt! Your gonna pay!"
"That's my line. Tell me Jeff that bruise on Lucy's cheek…..it was you wasn't it?"
"Bah! It wasn't me. One of my men wanted her to give him a back rub with her breast's and she refused. Hm can't believe I didn't think of the idea. Hm."
Suddenly the killing intent was felt by everyone.
"THE FUCK YOU SAY OLD MAN!"
"Hahahahaha!"
Axel don't give in. It's exactly what he wants! Stay calm.
"I'm gonna end this with the next move."
"Heh, you can try!"
Shit this is bad. I'm bouta lose consciousness!
"Water Dragon...ROAR!!!"
A vortex of water escaped Axel's mouth and headed to Jeff in a high pressure blast attack.
All Jeff could do was scream as his body was tore apart by the current. Now while Axel had a deep hatred for this man he didn't put his all into the attack it wouldn't look good if he killed him…but he was pretty close.
Axel looked at the enemy's mangled body and sighed. The serious look suddenly left his face as he ran to his friends.
"Hey guys." Axel said swinging his arms behind his back.
Ezra rushed forward and wrapped her arms around Axel which caused him to smile, patting her on the back. "You should of gotten word back to us that you were safe."
Axel pulled away from her. "I couldn't, if he discovered I was alive he would probably harm Lucy in some way. I had to train In secret in a way that he wouldn't become suspicious."
"That's understandable." Juvia said. "I'm curious about that attack of yours, what did you call it? Water Disk?"
"I knew you'd like that. It's a move inspired by one of your techniques, after all." He said
"I can tell, it's more advanced than my move. If used correctly you could take off someone's head". Said Juvia
"That's certainly true." Axel eyed the town's medical team as they took Jeff away. "I really should of killed him, but I knew that's not how our guild does things."
Lucy frowned. She certainly wouldn't miss him if Axel did kill him.
"Lucy are you ok?" Ezra looked at her friend with worry. Having experience as a slave herself she could understand Lucy s hit.
"I'm ok, Ezra. The most they ever made me do was their chores." Spoke the blond
Axel's eyes narrowed, if only he had killed him, but he knew he couldn't.
As time passed by the guild-mates made their way back to the guild.

A few months later
Not much changed these past two months, Axel trained while in between missions. He hanged out with his friends while he wasn't busy with missions.
"Hey Luce." Came Axel's voice as he entered the Guild, he eyed Mira before looking at Lucy who was talking with Cana.
The blonde looked at her best friend, a smile forming on her face as he approached the two fairy tail female's.
"What brings you here Axel? I thought you were training." Cana said
Axel looked at Lucy. "I got hungry and I thought I'd spend lunch with my best friend."
"That's sweet." Lucy said. "What did you have in mind?"
Axel smiled. "I thought we could go where we usually go, no need to change it up yknow?"
"Yeah. Let's go." Lucy said. "See ya Cana!"
Cana smiled grabbing a mug of beer and chugging it as she waved at her blond friend.
"They're getting along, as usual." Smiled Juvia
"Yeah. They're best friends, alright." Said Cana
"Sometimes I wonder if he's in love with her instead of a certain take over mage." Said Macao. "You think he and Mira will get together one day?"
Ezra looked at the man and frowned. Axel was 14 years old right now and all he was thinking about was getting stronger and protecting his friends, he wasn't exactly thinking about dating anyone, but she could see him and Mira as a couple sometime in the future.
"Sure, why not? He has qualities that Mira likes. I think they'd make a cute couple in the future." Ezra responded
Laughter was heard in the guild and about ten minutes later the Strauss they were talking about walked into the guild.
