Chapter 9 - And so it begins

(A/N): Ok so this chapter might be confusing nearing the end of it, but you will understand after you read the entire thing.

The sound of water splashing in every direction could be heard, as a bright glowing figure could be seen, propelling itself downwards to the very depths of the unknown.

Gilgamesh has been swimming for, a while now, it's been twenty minutes since he has last talked to Solomon if anything he was confident that he has swum more than 15,000 meters down nearing the end.

But with the aid of his tentacles, the speed he was going was relative fast, it would appear his new racial skill was "one with water" which is a skill that allows him to travel along with the water.

But as he goes deeper he suddenly remained motionless as he floats one spot and looks at the dark abyss, and if you would look closely Gilgamesh's face suddenly turns to one of great worry, this, of course, grabs the attention of Solomon as she said.

"Solomon, I think you are right something monstrous is indeed down there although I can't tell what it is, with my racial ability of "water sense" I can tell that thing is huge, 60 meters, no! 80 meters, hahaha... this is going to pain in the ass to deal with it."

Announce Gilgamesh who was picking up some powerful vibration within the water, but that wasn't the only thing, as he traversed into the great mouth of the unknown, the further he goes the faster the temperature was dropping at a tremendous rate, normally this is what one should expect with the increased of pressure due to the depth.

But this wasn't the case, for one the pressure does not bother him if anything it's child play compared to his home planet, and one should also expect that the temperature of the water should be decreased as they got deeper due to the lack of sunlight.

But something was off, and Gilgamesh being the otaku he is, had long guessed what might be the situation, and in a time like this, he is grateful for holding such knowledge of anime and games.

So by just observing the surrounding for a, while, he has concluded.

"Judging by the abnormal temperature drop, it's obvious that whatever down there can manipulate ice, because my God I feel like I'm swimming in ice water."

"Well before I traverse any further I would need to get as much information as I can right now about my current self, this monster isn't going to be an easy kill, although I don't know much about the dragon veins of this world I know it counts as a very valuable resource in other anime and fantasy games."

"Solomon, I won't go any further, I need some information, tell me about myself, No, as a matter of fact, please give me a synopsis of my lethal skills."

[Abilty synopsis]

.Electric current generations: It is the ability to create and manipulate electric current from your horn, with this ability you can do an "AOE" attack that can kill weaker enemies instantly and hurt stronger enemies, but if you charge and pump enough electricity through your horns you can fire a powerful lightning blast from it.

.Fear inducement eyes: It is the ability to induce great fear into one soul, this makes the enemy shakey and also disoriented if this is inflicted upon a weaker enemy they could die from a heart attack due to a fear overdose.

.Water sense: The ability to sense the enemy in the water through vibration, allows you to determine the size and features, and overall distance.

.Venomous body: This ability give the master an extremely poisonous body, your blood cause organs to fail, it even smells so good once reveal it attracts the enemy, your saliva can create a poison so strong it can make one heart stop instantly, your flesh is a strong drug that can make one fall asleep if the consumed it, meanwhile your hair can destroy living cells.

"I see, well that's sufficient information I guess, although I would find it way easier to just consume it with digestive singularity."

Upon these words, Solomon instantly replies to redirect his thoughts, her plan was precise her master has to fight the ancient monster that is down there, a total of 30.89% of the ether and prana has already been consumed by this monster, but a total of 26.78% could be retrieved from its magic veins once dismantle directly, and it's only fair that her master reaps everything he can.

Despite the fact of victory being 12%, and every time he dies the chances will go up by 3% a slight increase but one that can be spam infinitely, and if calculated properly he would die at least 30 times according to her calculations.

With that said Gilgamesh began to head down to the lower depth of the monster pit, he has passed a couple of monsters, but they were all neutral types.

And on his way down he has seen many species, some beautiful, some scary, some big, and others just weird looking.

And after 20 minutes of constant swimming, he began to get a glimpse of something but as he reaches it, he paused once more, the reason is, that he finally began to see the bottom of the pit, and what he saw was truly a monstrous existence.

Before he was glowing greenstone the size of a car with multi-colored veins flowing through it, although it had a crack at the center, it was as if something was trying to break it to pieces.

But he didn't have to ask what caused it, reason be, that before Gilgamesh was a ginormous monster, it was a snake-like creature but it was more similar to that of the eel, it was at least over 80 meters, its body was covered with purple scales.

While it had several giant spikes going down its elongated body, its eyes were glowing a potent sky blue color as cold as ice.

It was as if anything it glared at would automatically freeze in a solid block of ice, but the weirdest thing about it was the fact that its entire body was glowing a rather menacing purple aura.

"So that's the monster that is eating at the dragon vein ha?"

"Solomon analysis."
